“Beautiful property, lack of response from hosts, no interaction at all was a bit disconcerting. The second room with bunk beds can get hot and would benefit from fans as there is only AC in main bedroom. The setting and patio were pretty and the location is fantastic for park entrance. I do not recommend getting there after dark. We did, unintentionally, and it was so confusing to find, there is no signage on gates or at property to let you know you're there. We figured it out but it was rough...

“This review is for 5/2/26 - 5/4/26. Stayed here a couple nights to catch a show at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown about 30 mins away. First off great communication with the owners & management, very helpful and welcoming. The property itself has so much character and charm. We absolutely loved it. It is a little dim with lightning but not bad. Such a great stay for the price. There are field mice that try to sneak in so just a heads up. “Kitchen was equipped with basic items, which was fine for us, as we did not do any cooking. Fresh ground coffee and coffee maker were great for getting the mornings started. There was a cooler and large ice pack, which were perfect for storing items while we hiked! Propane fire pit and furniture were comfortable in the cooler evenings. Enjoyed dinner at 2 places within walking distance- Saloon and Sky High Pie. We stayed Tuesday- Friday; there may have been other options open on the weekends....

“Easy access since it is right off the road to the West Entrance. Kitchen fully stocked and the bed was comfortable! Air Conditioner works great! We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and looking at the stars.”
