I concur with all the reviews it was a beautiful stay and host were attentive and answers questions promptly! Since I booked this as a pickleball retreat , I’ll give my thoughts on the court from a player point of view. The court is made of concrete which is a tad different feel than public courts, has wide enough area on the sides for ATPs, the white border lines are painted wider than usual and not always straight, the baseline to the edge would be around 4 feet (deep serves can be difficult to return without stepping on the rocks surrounding the court). Although the court is not perfect, the amenities make up for it. Players could hang out at the cabana or at the fire pit while waiting their turn. After playing we relaxed in the hot tub and since it’s winter did a cold plunge into the pool! Overall we’re very satisfied with our stay and having a court on site was the deciding factor.

The appliances are all old. We had to wash the dishes by hand when we first got there as they were dirty on the shelf. Could be an old dishwasher. The ice maker did not work, while you did leave one bag of ice, we drink a lot of water as a group so we had to buy additional bags. The dryer was filled with lint beyond the link basket. It took a long time to dry things and since there weren't enough pool towels and shower towels for our group, we had to wash these items. Only one dish towel just isn't enough. The faucet in the kitchen sink was terribly loose and we finally had to crawl under the sink to tighten it, out of fear it would leak. It was nice of you to send us a gift basket but for the price of your VRBO, I would invest that money into new appliances. We enjoyed the Paddle Ball Court, grill, and outdoor fireplaces. Location was convenient to the National park and small town. We did receive a package for someone else and left it on the dining table. Method of contacting anyone for assistance was not very convenient for us, having a phone contact would have been nice.

My entire group had a fantastic time! The house was newly built, modern, and beautifully designed. The entire property was clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. My group especially the kiddos, loved the pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit. It was the perfect setup for relaxing and enjoying our time together. The location was also ideal for stargazing and the night sky was super clear. Host communication was solid and Luis responded quickly and were very helpful with any questions or requests. Highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely keep this place in mind for future family or group stays.

Good property

It's a very nice house for a family to stay in. The cleaning needs some work. And be prepared for hidden costs. It costs 250 a day to heat the pool, and you have to call to get it switched over to a hot tub.They are very responsive to requests.

Great Joshua Tree getaway for multiple couples

We were four couples, and the home worked perfectly. Close to the park and to downtown. Quiet and beautiful sunrises. We especially loved the hot-tube and connected cold plunge (as we did not pay extra for the heat in the swimming pool).Communication with the management team was EXCELLENT. They came out twice to respond to challenges we were having. The place would have been even better if the following could be addressed: lack of closets or hooks in bedrooms and bathrooms; add shelves in laundry room for extra sheets which were stored in the drawers of one of the bedrooms; toaster was not very functional. Overall, it is a wonderful retreat. We'd come again!

Chic and Quiet!

A group of my family and friends stayed here for one night to celebrate a birthday. There were enough beds for everyone and all amenities worked as expected. My group loved the pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit. This location was perfect for seeing stars clearly at night. Host communication was solid and they replied so quickly when I had questions. Highly recommend! I will keep this place in mind for future family/group stays.

Lovely stay for a multi generational family

We had a lovely time in this home for a few days exploring the area. Everything was exactly as described and we had no issues for anyone in our group. We got there right at check in time and the cleaners were still scrambling to finish, but they did a lovely thorough job. The home is close to the park and to Joshua Tree town, so super convenient for all we needed. Unfortunately we had some lousy weather with very high winds while were there, so had to spend more time in the house than we’d planned which wasn’t really a problem, but it would have been nice if there’d been an assortment of games to play. Not promised to us, but would have made a difference!

Birthday weekend

We rented this house for a long weekend to celebrate two birthdays. The house was very clean and comfortable. the pool temp was perfect and we were able to enjoy the outdoor area most of the day and evening. We would stay here again.

Spring Break getaway

Stayed at this beautiful home with 4 children (ages 11-13) and 2 adults. We had tons of space for everyone and the home was clean. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. The home is very close to the National Park and we had fun days exploring and hiking. We had a very relaxing getaway.
