Set in a quiet neighborhood just southwest of the village, Desert Ace is a fully remodeled single-story retreat built for big groups who want room to spread out and a backyard that earns its keep. Warm-toned ceiling details run overhead, the design leans modern and desert-chic, and five bedrooms sleep twelve across seven queen beds — enough space for two families, a friend group, or a reunion that needs everyone under one roof.

Outside is where Desert Ace really shows off. A pool and spa sit at the center of it all, framed by loungers, two shaded cabanas, and a covered dining area with a built-in gas grill for long dinners under the open sky. When the temperature drops, gather around the gas fire pit. Between soaks there's a genuine lineup of things to do: a four-hole putting green, a bocce court, cornhole, and a giant outdoor chessboard, all set against low desert landscaping that glows softly once the sun goes down. The location puts you minutes from the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, where you can spend a morning scrambling the boulders at Hidden Valley or catching sunset at Keys View, then be back at the pool before dinner. The village of Joshua Tree is a short drive up the road, with breakfast at Crossroads Cafe or JT Country Kitchen, a bag of beans from Joshua Tree Coffee Company, and burgers and live music at the Joshua Tree Saloon. - This home allows up to 2 pets for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStay’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet.
- Just a friendly reminder that if you'd like pool heat during your stay, requests and payment must be made at least 48 hours before check-in, as we're unfortunately unable to accommodate mid-stay requests. Pool heat is only available from October through April. The pool heat is set to 80 degrees. Any higher temperature can damage the pool/spa equipment. Please note that there is one heater for both the pool and spa, so only one can be heated at a time. If the spa is in use, it may temporarily lower the pool temperature. Lastly, while we'll do our best to ensure a comfortable experience, outdoor weather conditions may affect how well the water heats. Thank you so much for your understanding!
- Please be aware that wildlife such as insects, scorpions, and snakes may be present. Our team does their best to check the home before your arrival, but be mindful about leaving the doors & windows open during your stay.
- This property has exterior video surveillance and noise alert decibel monitoring systems in common areas to ensure guest security and compliance with local laws. Cameras are located by the front entry, EV charger, and pool equipment.
- Due to the remote location of our home, guests may experience unannounced power outages.
- To help everyone enjoy a peaceful stay and to remain in good standing with our neighbors, we observe quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please note that local county quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, but we ask guests to start winding down a bit earlier.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
