5 Stars – A Perfect, Relaxing Getaway!We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property is very well kept and thoughtfully maintained. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The cabin had a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind and enjoy some much-needed downtime.Whether we were sipping coffee on the porch, enjoying the cozy interior, or just taking in the beautiful surroundings, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. You can really tell the owners take pride in this place — it felt like a home away from home.Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat. We’d love to come back again!

Beautiful and quiet

This cabin is on a beautiful quiet street in a lovely area. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the sounds of nature. It is about an hour and a half from San Diego so taking trips to the beach, Lego land and seaworld were easy and duable. The roads to San Diego are beautiful to drive. It was a great way to see some sights, get cheaper gas and groceries than Julian has to offer. Host is very responsive which is always a plus. All and all a great place to stay

The location was nice, little off grid. We enjoyed the porch bed swing a lot. There were two addition swings to chill on that were also fun. Location had great ac for the master bedroom and living room but side bedroom near the kitchen wasn’t the best but was good. Site demonstrated they was a hot tube but the jets didn’t work, there was an issue with the hot water but it was resolved in less than an hour. The sauna was nice, max two adults. Had lots of playing room outside and beautiful birds and scenery. GPS lead us to the location pretty well. About 10-14 minutes from the main Julian town. Family had a great time. Kitchen was a nice size for cooking and eating together; and the novelties around the house were fun.

Wonderful stay

We appreciated finding this property and having the opportunity to stay. We had a wedding in Ramona and this was a much nicer and more comfortable option for family rather than staying in Ramona. Spacious, plenty of room, and a great kitchen. The porch was an huge plus and the swinging bed was nice for coffee in the morning. Only two beds were uncomfortable and that was the room with the Xbox and my teenage niece was unphased. The other beds were great and we appreciated the nice heavy blankets throughout. Thank you again for such a nice country stay!

Magical!

Perfect accommodations for a moms group weekend away. The property is quiet and we were visited by deer, turkeys, quail, and jays. Even though we had “unseasonably high” temps for our weekend the front porch was still quite comfortable in the mornings and evenings and the A/C was very welcomed at peak temps. The dishwasher was not working so we cleaned up old school style, and wished we had brought dish sponges, kleenex, and saran wrap but otherwise we had everything we needed. Super close to Heise park with lovely hiking trails. Thank you for the great stay!

Cozy cabin close to Julian

This was a really lovely place to stay and I wish we had longer at the property. Everything we could have wanted was provided onsite, and it was very close to the town. The only drawbacks were that it was a bit difficult to find (the route is circuitous, and Google Maps doesn't do a great job with navigation), and that we arrived during an unseasonably cold spell, and it was freezing. It would be good to have the heaters on a little to prepare for arriving guests. Other than that, a lovely stay! We enjoyed the sauna!

Weekend getaway

It was a very nice and relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and relatively easy to get to from San Diego. The house was very clean, open space, and the living room was cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was nice and big, great for hanging out during family dinner prep. The outdoor space was peaceful. I would recommend staying here to others that would like a nice getaway from the city.

Just perfect for us!

Met our needs in every way. Clean. Very good communication. A unique property with a great quirky Julian vibe. Quiet and peaceful. My favorite place was the porch bed swing-spent many hours whiling away the day having great conversations with my sons.

Serenity Indeed

Host was very accommodating and forthcoming with information. Home was lit up and fire started when we arrived. Julian experienced a safety power outage due to high winds. Our host was available to whatever we needed to deal with the issue.

Amazing Stay In This Beautiful Cabin!!

To summarize, our stay at this property was amazing. To begin, the cabin itself is extremely beautiful, from inside to outside, the cabin is visually stunning and comes with a bunch of different amenities that made our stay that much more comfortable. The rooms and decorations are extremely beautiful. The heater was amazing, it kept us warm and toasty. Asides from the cabin itself, the host was extremely helpful. She always stayed in contact with us, and was always quick to respond. She helped out so much even after the trip, as we ended up forgetting a wallet lol! Also, Adam was extremely kind in fixing the heater for the cabin. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience and I hope to make this a yearly tradition with my family!!!

Rustic and quaint, but comfort levels were questionable

Extreme cold in the house , uncomfortable beds were really the main reason for my three stars. But host responsiveness was great. Rustic and charms were there for sure and appreciated the use of the sauna, which was a nice touch

Wonderful host

Family Vacation

Our whole family greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful rustic cabin in the woods. We had fun on the tree swings and watching the local wildlife that visited the property, including blue jays and wild turkeys. We would love to visit again in the future.
