“Hidden gem! SUPER CLEAN! Very cool the way the owners have renovated this 185 year old building from a general store to a comfortable place to get some R&R. I really appreciate the warning about the stairs leading to the rooms. Having mobility issues and booking homes can be aggravating, you spend hours research your trip ( where to stay, eat, mode of transport, activities , etc ) only to find out that the property is difficult to manage moving about the rooms. ”

“This is our 2nd stay at Anchorhold Farm/The Lodge. This time we took our adult kids for a long weekend to spend time together, enjoy the bourbon trail, Keeneland and playing games around the big table. Everyone of them said they would return in a heartbeat. You won't find a more beautiful property or accommodations. The large space and bedrooms were comfortable and nicely appointed. We lacked nothing as the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could imagine. Clear starry nights on...

“This past weekend me and 11 other friends of mine ran in the RAGNAR Bourbon Chase. We used this VRBO as a shower/sleeping spot for us during the overnight hours of the 200ish mile run. 6 of us were at the house at one time in shifts. Debbie was so nice she made sure we had fresh towels between our groups and the house was very nice. If you have ever done the Bourbon Chase you know how nice it is to have a shower and a bed to sleep in, even if it is only for 2 hours. Thanks again Debbie!”
