“Es un sitio tranquilo cerca de todo y un desayuno increíble. Estuvimos hace 7 años en la misma zona y todo a cambiado mucho pero este hotel sigue manteniendo la esencia y el desayuno de hace 7 años. “Very nice and very quiet chalet on a deserted beach. The location is literally on the beach. Ideal if you want tranquility. Just the sound of the waves! Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked). ”

“Such a lovely hotel located right on the beach, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be slightly outside of Hiriketiya. Due to its location it is very quiet and peaceful. There are sun loungers on the beach as well as by the pool. It is super easy to get into the main town by tuktuk or a 30 minute walk. The staff are lovely and so attentive if you need a bite to eat I would recommend their pizza which are delicious. We loved our stay here and would 100% come back! ”

“Amazing stay at Anantara in Tangalle. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Especially Piyal our butler who made every effort to make our stay and unforgettable one. “Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. “The owner greated us with a nice cold scented towel to wipe our faces and hands on, which was very welcoming after our hot journey and a refreshing iced tea. Our bedroom was lovely and big and spotless. A nice big bathroom with plenty of hot water. The top terrace was lovely with the sea views whilst eating great food. You could walk to the beach in 5 minutes where you can find lots of great restaurants.”

“La estancia en Lankavatara fue espectacular. El hotel se encuentra en medio de una playa virgen rodeada de naturaleza. El servicio de todo el stuff fue simplemente excepcional, son la esencia de este hotel. En especial nuestro camarero Malshan se encargó de que todo fuese perfecto. Nos hicieron una cena romántica en la playa sin coste extra, nos llevaban las bebidas a la hamaca, siempre con mucha servicialidad. Suelen tener este tipo de detalles. Las habitaciones muy modernas y bien equipadas....

“We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....
