“We have a family stay during a trip to Nikko. The Hotel is far, and the road have many hard curves, but it was easy to find and worth the cost. The room is big enought to 4 people, warm, comfortable beds and the breakfast was very good and complete. We rented a car, and the parking is at the road in front of the hotel, and free. ”

“This ryokan was lovely- all the staff were so accommodating and made us feel very special! The ryokan itself is dainty and pleasant. There was public Onsens for women’s and men’s separate (in the women’s there was 1 indoor and 1 outdoor public Onsen with shower room inside). You can also book a private Onsen when you arrive - they have 45 min time slots for 3000 yen! Also very quick walk to Yubatake and the bus station! Would recommend”

“We had a really nice stay at this hotel. The food was excellent. Chef Oohira is very skilled-the food was surprisingly delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Really high quality ingredients. Also, the rooms were clean as they had just opened a few months ago (Oct 2018). Further, their shuttle service was a bit inconvenient since they only offer 2 times per day to the station but other than that it was an overall great stay here!”
