Like usual, this is a bit different from the usual hotel room - the facilities are great and the amenities far more comfortable than you’d think for the price , but if you want the average motel experience keep looking. Vintage touches galore., modern AC / hvac, no direct controls. Wifi limited. Mcmenamins restaurants are technically next door , meaning you will ever so briefly exit to street...

“I honestly liked everything about this hotel.. I’ve been to many hotels in my life and honestly this might be my favorite one. Very convenient and staff was very polite.. I ate at 13 coins for breakfast which is apart of the hotel. ”

“This property is an amazing renovation of a historic building, so it has a lot of charm. We were a little nervous when they pointed out the earplugs in the room, but we honestly didn't hear the train all night, and the wedding party in the ballroom was done by 10pm. I would recommend this hotel. ”

The home is situated right on a slough on the Columbia River and the views are superb. Hosts Steve and Betsy are welcoming, and provide everything one would want for a comfortable, memorable stay. The home is incredibly clean and well-appointed. We will be back!”
