“Not very clean in the room and toilet,curtains was hanging off the runner's. There are 2 main roads each side of the hotel and it was very noisy.when booking they did say they didn't have a car park,but it was ok to use the hotel across the road,there isn't an hotel across the road.the only parking was a cricket club 500mtrs plus down the Rd to park at”

“We stayed in this hotel for just one night on our way back from the Highlands of Scotland. I wish we had booked for longer. A beautiful building, parking on site, a large warm room and very cheerful staff. The breakfast was brilliant with table service for a cooked breakfast, which was presented with care and cooked to perfection. We are going to return at a later date for a longer stay and to use the facilities!”

After sitting on it, some of us felt itchy and chose not to use it again during our stay. If the sofa were included in the cleaning schedule, the guest experience would be even better. “Apartment was spotless, for a central location it was incredibly peaceful. The overall appearance is beginning to look a little shabby, and all needs a little TLC. Toilet flush broken...main bed very wobbly.”

“Comfortable, well equipped 2 bedroom lodge with the living room, kitchen, bathroom, garden, parking space. Very kind owners always ready to talk. Property surrounded by a beautiful nature - green hills, farm animals. Not far are nice trails for hiking. Kendal is only 6 miles away. I recommend this place and I want to come back in the future.”
