“A character-full period property in an impressive setting, with parking space provided. Everything was clean and tidy.The breakfast room has some great views of the surrounding landscape. The breakfast itself was delicious and plentiful. There is also a lounge room downstairs which has a shared fridge and a free espresso maker in for use throughout the day. Our bedroom was a decent size, comfortable and ckean. The bed and bathroom, shower etc. all good. What really stood out for us though, were...

“I really like the ethos of this B&B, it tries hard to be eco in its vegetarian background to it's use of shampoo etc in refillable containers. The owners were very helpful, they were happy to aid us in charging our car and if you have an electric car you will know what a pain it can be searching for a place to top up.”

“Lovely little B&B with parking, inbetween Windermere and Bowness. The staff were super helpful, and breakfast was great. The only small downside was the lack of sound proofing of the rooms, particularly noise from the landing. Would still stay again though”

“Spacious, comofrtable room. Cool in the heatwave. Good sleep. Plenty of options for meals nearby. Parking is in public pay-car-park, but cheap rate overnight after 7pm”

“Kettle in room was dirty brown yellowy in the bottom asked for it to be cleaned to be told it had been cleaned so was unable to make a brew in the room. Breakfast was ok although fried egg was not cooked properly very snotty. Boiled eggs uncooked today. The woman had bad attitude the way she spoke to guest blunt and rude. Would not stay here again.”
