I am embarrassed I spent $153 for the one night stay at the Red Lion. Very limited staff (when I walked in and waited in line while one very harried desk clerk worked feverishly to get people checked in. After almost checking in...she simply walked away. But I had my room key (2223) so I left and went in search of the room. THAT TASK took me 15 minutes. The room itself...was deplorable. For God sake, replace the sink in the bathroom...it is so cracked and old, you should be embarrassed yourselves. The bathtub also has a larger crack or chip, and it looks as if a 3rd grade child tried to "repair" it?? A clogged toilet? Seriously, a clogged toilet???? And I'm given that room? No outlets except for the little clock on the nightstand. ??? I had to leave my room and find a place where I could purchase an extension cord with 3 plug-ins. The heater/cooler...did not cool down the room. It started to do so...then it simply quit. I slept for 3.5 hours in a warm room and finally gave up any thought of more sleep. When I left this morning at 8:00 am ... I wanted to mention my concerns about the room...but not one Red Lion employee was found. I finally gave up and walked out. A terrible experience. And I will be detailing it on Google where I have a larger following of my reviews. James Estes

Construction going on, outer doors locked after midnight and can only be accessed through the front door, even with a key card. The front desk person was extremely rude and would not get us rooms close together, even though we called several days in advance. No elevators in use. Had to carry a baby and all the luggage up 2 flights of stairs, and down 5 long hallways to get to our room at the extreme far end of my he hotel on the top floor. Will not be back.

It’s conveniently close to shopping and dinning however the room was old and had a weird small, like they were trying to cover up the smell leftover from smoking with cheap perfume. The door into the building of our room had a card reader however it was not needed to enter because the handle was broken… I woke up in the morning and saw ants (a lot of them) in the bathroom. I would not recommend this place at all, not worth the price.

Only real problem was that my mattress was a couple of years beyond expiration. The edge had literally collapsed and I almost ended up on the floor the first time I sat on it. Zero support. Complained at the front desk and they did absolutely nothing. Evinced zero interest in helping. A complete waste of space and no manager in site. Doubt I’ll be back. Otherwise, convenient location and a decent breakfast.

This Red Lion Inn is currently undergoing some renovations. However I noticed the parking lot in the back had quite bit of garbage strewn about. Also the lap posts were leaning like they were ready to topple over. The rooms looked like the were aging especially in the bathroom area where paint was missing in spots. It is my impression that the owners are taking steps to improve this facility as it has some great potential to because what it once was back when it was built.
