Gorgeous, well-appointed cottage, absurdly comfortable beds, a lovely screened in porch, with horses visible at all times and a pond that my son never wanted to stop fishing in. They even provide poles.My daughter was able to ride a horse with Sommer and played with his dogs, and that made her trip.The town is lovely, it’s extremely close to several winery, and there are some surprisingly GOOD restaurants within 10-15 minutes. “Ivy Cottages was the perfect place to stay because it was easy to reach UVA. The cottage had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. There was also easy access to a grocery store. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Overall a very nice clean and convenient location for visiting Charlottesville, VA. FYI the turn into the driveway, when headed east is a steep turn, which can be tricky at night the first time. “The house was good for our family of 6 plus one dog. We stay here to be near UVA and family for concert. Had local family over and grilled burgers. The yard was great to gather and play. Trail was great for the dog walks. Small house but served its purpose for our weekend. Any issues we had were addressed immediately. Road to house is on dirt road.
