Great location

Well maintained 2br condo in the Truman Annex. Easy walk to all the bars, beach, and the marina in Key West. We had an issue with the television, that the property manager promptly took care of - a ne TV.

Key West Get Away

Great location with easy walking distance to the heart of Key West. Easy Biking , scooter or Golf Cart to the remainder of the Island. Quiet Condo complex and I was there for New Years. Only heard the Roosters Crowing in the mornings.

Quaint Truman Annex Bungalow

This is an adorable bungalow! Easy access to Duval, Fort Zachary and parks. The neighborhood is quaint, quiet and filled with beautiful homes and lush gardens. Love love loved the free parking spot. We had an 11 year old with. Although accommodations were absolutely suitable for families I wouldn’t say this particular area caters to kiddos. Evenings are very quiet and pool area was filled with adults. Overall the bungalow has everything you would need. One of our favorite parts is the cute front porch or back patio for lovely home cooked dinners or morning coffee.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The biggest positive is location. Overall, the rental is ok. Issues include dirty plates (stuck on food) and spatula had rice all over the backside; immediately put all the dishes in the dishwasher. I am not sure why there is a broken down bike in the back patio area which detracts from the property. The chair closest to the patio always felt wet and dirty. I know the management company leaves a phone number for issues and would have taken care of the dirty dishes, but I also do not like having others enter the property while renting it unless it is a significate issue like AC.

Great location and service

Perfect place to access Duval and scuba diving. Had an AC issue at 7:30pm and service was there in 45 mins. Great customer service.

Good location

Good location. Easy to walk almost every where. While the property was clean, it is definitely starting to show its age. Doubtful it has been updated since originally built.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Went to visit Duval Street, this was a great location for this. Easy walking distance to the bars and restaurants. It is a gated community and we had trouble with the pedestrian gate keys when trying to get in or out. The dining table is pretty worthless. It is wicker with wicker underneath so no place for legs, and the stools are small and uncomfortable.

Great Location

2 couples stayed for a week. The location couldn't be better. Place was clean, had everything we needed. Washer/Dryer came in very handy. Enough room for 4 people. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is not exactly what we were expecting. The photos really made it look a lot nicer. Very dated and gross in certain areas. Rust on the refrigerator and in one bathroom sinks. Balcony's don’t all have chairs. Bike out back is unusable. The towel rack and toilet paper holder does not stay on wall. Personal photos on the wall make it feel more like you’re staying in a strangers home then being in a vacation rental. Just not what we were expecting. My sister and brother in law have stayed in many rentals here in Truman annex and said this one is by far not like any of the others.

Also they stock the unit with dishwasher and laundry soap so it was all ready to go. You definitely feel like your on a tropical vacation. We had one parking space and two cars but were able to find parking off property (no additional guest parking). We would definitely stay here again and I don’t say that about many places.

Perfect location, nice townhome

The location of this townhome was perfect! Close to everything that old town Key West has to offer. The property was just as described, although we couldn't use the one balcony due to a structural issue. The property was very nicely decorated, very tropical. On our last day, we saw a couple of Palmetto bugs but it is south Florida 🙂

Breezy Bungalow

We’ve stayed at various places in the Truman Annex over the past 20 years. This property is clean, convenient, and set up for a nice vacation spot. Walking distance to everything in Old Town. Nice interior, Well equipped with a private porch and balconies; even had a blender for making Margaritaville Rum drinks. Would stay here again! At Home Key West was the property manager we rented through; they provided outstanding service.

Amazing

The condo was lovely. Very clean and nicely decorated. Perfect for two couples. We felt very at home. The area is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Duval but yet within walking distance of everything. The pool was a great way to relax and meet new people. Loved it and looking forward to staying there again!

Breezy Bungalow in Truman Annex is the a superb location. Once we eased our rental car into the designated off-street parking space, we didn't drive anywhere except one trip to the grocery store. If you want to be close to everything -- Duval St., Mallory Square, Hemingway House, The Little White House, lots of shops and restaurants -- this is the place. The condo is neat as a pin and well maintained. Our 2BR, 2.5BA unit had two balconies and private patio. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was convenient. The Annex pool was excellent and never crowded. We've stayed in hotels and B&B's on previous trips to Key West. Now, I ask myself why? For the same money, you get more space, the option to prepare some or all meals, access to laundry, included parking, cable TV and WiFi. The staff at Home Away is top notch, too. I really didn't need much from them because rental payment, key pick up and the condition of the unit were all "as advertised." I did get a welcome phone call on our first day to offer suggestions for activities and to ask if we needed anything. Dealing with HomeAway was easy. We will definitely be using their services again...and again!
