Had to book here last minute due to first booking being canceled night before check-in! What a great experience this was. Host was very easy to deal with and would respond back very quickly. Even willing to let is get in a little early due to our situation. Glad we booked here! ALSO the house and property are great! Very well maintained and clean!

The house was perfect for our family. The Brightwild hosts were amazing. Great location! Also, if you have little kids def use BabyQuip. We used Molly and I can’t saw enough good things about her. We will be back!

Great spot. The right distance from all the action on duval and in close proximity to golf and the marina for fishing and boating charters. Plus a sweet canal and dock for swimming and snorkeling

I have to say, this has to be one of the best VRBO experiences I’ve ever had! The house was exactly as listed, if not better! The team at Bright wild was outstanding and met our every need! Highly recommend!!!

Could have been better!

Overall we did have a nice stay here. It's a nice location with a nice dock and an amazing porch. However, the heater for the pool did not work which was a huge disappointment. This made the pool basically unusable. Water temperature was about 75 degrees so no one wanted to swim. Also, the main floor in the home is mushy in spots so there must be water damage. The house is also very minimally furnished. We were short forks and towels which the property owner did take care of quickly. We were also reimbursed some money because of the pool but we would NOT have stayed here had we known about the cold pool. If you don't like noise and loud aircraft look elsewhere! Property owner was responsive and helpful but there were some definite disappointments!

Great place to stay for family or group

Overall this property was terrific. Just a few minutes drive to old town Key West, but still provided privacy. However, we did have a few issues. When we rented the house it advertised that we could get 3 bedrooms with kings and two with twins. Upon arrival only 2 bedrooms had kings. We asked for conversion and were told that they didn't do anymore. However I had specifically inquired before booking and was assured that this could be done. Also, the house was poorly stocked. One roll of paper towels and no other towels in the kitchen. No seasonings at all. No cleaning supplies. However, once I contacted property management, they did supply a few items. I will say that property management was very quick to respond and very helpful in resolving the return of an items left in the house.

AMAZING

I can’t say enough great things about our stay. It was perfect for our party. Enough rooms for my entire wedding party, all my uncles and family for a bachelor trip. With enough people, it will be your most affordable key west trip and arguably the best trip you ever have. Private pool, cook your own food? Even your own private dock. The host was great with communication - the house was sqeaky clean when we arrived. The only bad thing I can say was another homeowner or “fake” security guard who followed us to our house saying we had the music in our car too loud. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY

Perfect Vacation

This house was amazing. Spacious, clean, updated. The property managers were extremely good with communication, usually getting back to us within a few minutes. They were flexible with early check in and late check out. We had the best time! Like others have noted, the only complaint I would have is how loud the navy planes are - but luckily they weren’t too often and that’s not a fault of the house. We will definitely return!

Disappointed

I would only rent this house in the summer. It was falsely advertised with heated pool but it was not. They sent the maintenance the next day then said it would take up to 24 hours to heat which ending up being our check out time. However, it never did heat up. Very disappointed. They didn’t plan ahead and then said in a back handed apology “I’m so sorry it didn’t meet your personal needs”. This company has several homes in the Key Haven neighborhood. The house is very big and nice but appointed with inexpensive furniture & art for this price point and poorly installed floors with dips and soft spots. Living room furniture again is inexpensive, uncomfortable and undersized. Both primary bathroom showers leak all over the floor when using. One corner of the pool wall was crumbling away, you can see the ground underneath. Very thin walls in the house you could hear everything. Wifi worked but would not stay connected. No window blind in the front bathroom shower. Construction workers across the street get a free show in the mornings. Two houses down had a driveway with 10+ cars in it and just as many young guys hanging out and cruising up and down the street in their cars. They seemed harmless but it was a little sketchy.

amazing home for great family memories

Overall the home was more than we ever expected. the only downfalls was the communication of questions days prior to stay, the home reaked of smoke (probably last tenant was chain smoke) which was not there fault and the A/C was off sync. upstairs freezing and downstairs hot. but the second day the maintenance did come and fix the A/C issue. I am grateful we were able to find this dream vacation and will probably visit again. the grandchildren had a blast with the wrap around porch and jumpiing off the dock daily. We rented a pontoon boat for the week so we were able to go out daily for ocean fun.

Wunderschönes Haus mit kleinen Mängeln

Das Haus ist wunderschön, liegt nur leider direkt in der Einflugschneise der US Military Base, somit war es 3-4 mal am Tag sehr laut, wenn die Jets über das Haus hinweg geflogen sind um zu landen oder zu starten. Es fehlen Kleinigkeiten wie Geschirrtücher, Poolhandtücher, sowie verschiedenes Küchenequipment. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt, das Haus ist schön groß, toll eingerichtet und hat einen sehr schönen Poolbereich und Steg. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war sehr gut, zudem waren Sie sehr hilfsbereit.

Nautical Splender

Beautiful, spacious home with an open living room, dining room and kitchen providing a large space for a family to gather. Sleeps 10 comfortably with another two twin beds in a room adjoining one of the upstairs bedrooms. The pool was wonderful - comfortable temperature that allows swimmers to stay in the water for hours. Key West is a short 10 minute drive. The bike path runs just outside the neighbourhood which provides miles of cycling opportunities. The Key West Golf Course is one stop light south on Highway 1. Very enjoyable stay!

Nautical Splendor

Overall good experience. Very noisy. Navy jets all day made it impossible to sleep in and difficult to hear conversation. Would not rent again for only that reason. Noise issue not disclosed. Reduces value of rental by more than 50%.

Review

The facility was great, as advertised. We had a great time and would definitely come back. But we did notice the following things that should be addressed: - the wall of the pool in the very shallow side (2-3 ft deep section) has tiles for the wall that are missing. Water is getting inside and behind and could cause serious damage. You can also hear a hollow sound when you walk in the area indicating water damage below ground. - pool temp would not adjust up to heat the water . - A pool vent cover was found on poolside, needs to be reinstalled. We left it on the kitchen counter. - the grill was very dirty from previously being used and the accumulation of all the grease at the bottom of the grill caused a 4-5 ft grease fire. Thankfully we were not grilling under the deck or serious damage could have occurred But the facility and our experience was great!

Amazing Stay

This was the most ideal place for our family to enjoy our time. Bathrooms in each bedroom, nice pool, relaxed private setting even with neighbors close by. Amenities were as stated. Like new! I'd do it again.

Perfect vacation house in paradise

We had the best time and we all fell in love with the house. It’s in the perfect location. We had a boat with us so having our own dock was awesome. We also did some fishing from the dock. The pool was amazing! We will definitely be back.
