Wonderful experience

This place and entire property is just amazing. The home itself is very interesting. They have anything you need to spend a week in Key West. The view from the pool is perfect. You can watch the sunset and the landscape is perfection. I have been to Key West 7 times in 4 years and I have to say this place has rated on the top of my list. I was also there for my wedding that took place at the fountain out front on the 4th of July. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I can't wait to rent here again!!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this condo for Fantasy Fest. The location was absolutely perfect—easy walking distance to downtown. I loved the patio and the easy access to the pool. I also appreciated that the kitchen is pretty well stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils, etc. The condo itself is a little bit dated, especially the bathrooms, but it wasn’t a problem. The air conditioning left something to be desired as it does not reach the main bedroom very well. We had to use the provided fan every night. The bed in the main bedroom was also rather uncomfortable. It would be great if they would invest in a better mattress. Also, upon check-in, I felt that the floors were not well cleaned and the shelves and tchotchkes were a bit dusty.The only other problem was with the rental agency. It is bizarre to me that their hours are pretty much 9 to 5 on weekdays and they close by (I think) 2 on Saturdays, which is check-in day. We had an issue with the air conditioning on Sunday and I called and left a message and didn’t hear back from anyone until mid-morning Monday. It wasn’t an emergency per se, but it would be nice to have better response time. I also did not like how we were told to clean the condo and take out the trash yet we were charged almost $300 for a cleaning fee.

This 2nd experience with At Home was not as positive as the first

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Last year I used At Home for the 1st time and had nothing but great things to say, when there was a problem with wifi, the response was timely and respectful. I did not consider using another management company. Now I will. I arrived on Saturday evening after a 3 hour flight delay, the parking spot I was assigned was filled with construction material and being very familiar with Truman Annex parking, I knew I would be towed so I called ATHome the emergency # which was my only option, Melissa advised me to talk to guard at the Annex entrance which I did but he said he couldn't help me. called Melissa again had her speak with Guard and he agreed to show me a different parking spot. Later after checking in, we could not find the key to the pool so I called Melissa again, and was told she would call me the next day but she called me back immediately and fussed at me for calling her on the emergency line. We never did get a call about the pool key. Fortunately we found it in a drawer.The property was ok, but lots of light coming thru the plantation shutters at night since it is near the front entrance, master bed very hard, some very busy art & home deco. There was no coffee or sugar which in my experience is always provided for the first night. The pool was great better sunset view than from Mallory Sq but we were thrown out and the gates locked right after the sun set so that was strange even when I was the only guest on the pool deck. The location is fantastic being in Truman Annex, lots of security.

Best Location

We stay in KW every year. This is our first time on this property and will definitely book again. Perfect proximity to all of the bars, piers, beaches. We didn't even need a car or scooter. The pool was just a few steps away. The view outstanding. Don't hesitate to book this one.

Great Place

Great spot, everything we needed was there. quirky and cute and spacious. Location was great. One thing that was missing was the key to the pedestrian gates around the Truman Annex which is pretty spread out . Because we didn't get the key, getting back to our place after dark was a bit of a nightmare with our kids, because we were only able tp get through via the main gate with was 3/4 of a mile away. We ended up getting a golf cart.

Great location and the unit was very clean and had everything that we needed during our stay. Walking distance to Downtown and all the activities. Check in as well as checkout was seamless and the staff at office were very friendly and were more than willing to answer any questions we had.

Some good some bad. Would not rent again.

The location is great. It's very secure. Loved the outside areas patio and pool. It had everything we needed inside except We had 4 adults and 1 child. I would not rent for more than 2 adults and 2-3 children. The 2nd bedroom is bunk beds and a pull out mattress on the floor. The master bed mattress was very cheap. I expected better. The living room tv is very old, as is the 2nd bedroom tv. The master had a large flat screen , but it did not work. The condo to me had too much furniture in it that wasn't used. Needs up dated. The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook. The floors did not look dirty, but if you went barefooted your feet were dirty on the bottoms. Just being honest, some was good some was not. But @home in Key West was great, to work with.

My husband and I took my mother to the Truman Annex and had the most amazing apartment. And most amazing vacation. The apartment was so adorably decorated with lots of colorful items and furniture. Our apartment was right at the pool which also was adjacent to the ocean. We would come back here every year if we could.

Wouldn't change a thing!

The condo was just perfect for us and another couple. It was clean and beautifully appointed. The location is the best in Key West. We've been to KW 12 times and these accommodations were the best we've ever experienced. We'll be back! The new key situation at Harbor Place is tricky. Other guests we spoke with had the same issues. Getting in and out of the pool gates posed problems.

Great place. Had just about everything.

We come to Key West regularly, but typically stay in hotels. This condo was very nice and spacious (including a big patio that many of the other upstair units did not have) and was well stocked with everything. Only thing that would have been nice to have would have been a couple of adult bikes to cruise, but we rented from Eaton Bikes right outside the Truman Annex area. The location was fantastic...not only for Key West, but at the complex itself. Pool was just 10 yards away and you could see the ocean from the patio. The condo also faced the back porch of Truman's Little White House site so we had to go on that tour (which was interesting). We walked or rode bikes just about everywhere and only used the car to go the grocery store. Only reason for 4 stars is the master bed was a bit firmer than we like and the twin beds were a little small for our two adult children. Similar issues as others with the parking, but we got it cleared up. It was great having covered parking.

Lovely condo with all amenities, perfect location

This condo was very spacious - but the photos of the place made it look small and rather shabby. In truth, the furnishings are in good order and the space was much larger than the photos. The deck was a wonderful resource with both shade and sun. Location, on the harbor, was just perfect. Short walk up to the restaurants and shops but the Truman Annex area was an oasis. The condo had all the amenities we could want, and then some. It was clean and well maintained. The management of the property was responsive when questions were asked (by e-mail, too)! The parking slot was misrepresented by the management and poorly described - but it was sorted out by the Truman Annex security.
