  • Inlet Cove cottage has it all! Three blocks to the beach, pool, tennis and golfing and 23 miles of bike paths! The house comes with four bikes that we have available for your use.
    Inlet Cove has the best pool on the island and a wonderful dock from where you can fish, catch crabs, or just enjoy unbelievable sunsets on the Kiawah River. Kiawah Business Licenses #RBL20-000015
    This smoke-free house is only 20 miles from romantic Charleston, but you never have to leave the island! Walk on the beach, laze on the front porch glider, or take a nap on the sofa in the screened porch!

Great cottage in a great location on the island. Access to bikes and beach equipment was a plus. Well stocked with supplies for the stay. Beds were okay, not great, but was overall a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Beach Getaway

We love this area of Kiawah, close to the beach, great pool, close drive to Freshfields. Comfortable accommodations, plenty of room for our family of 4.

We plan to stay here again. One of my favorite rentals! I especially appreciated the quiet street, the use of the bikes and how well stocked the bath linens were!

A truly wonderful family vacation

My family and I had a terrific time. Tom, the host, is so responsive and great to work with. It’s hard to find a place that would meet everybody’s wants and this was absolutely the best! Walking distance to both the beach and the pool and just a beautiful place!

Great location, fantastic vacation!

This villa is close to the beach and a beautiful, tranquil pool. The kitchen is very well equipped with loads of supplies not found in most places. A screened-in porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. It's the ideal spot for a stay at Kiawah.

Gem in Inlet Cove!

We’ve stayed in several different cottages in this neighborhood over the years and this 1 is now at the top of our list! It’s in a great location, the layout is great, and the kitchen is spacious and well-stocked. Tom was also a responsive and helpful host.

Kiawah Vacation

Had a great time. Property is as advertised and had nothing special, but you don't spend a lot of time in the house when you're at Kiawah. Great communication with owner, very clean upon arrival which is nice for a pets allowed property.

Great location, extremely clean! Every detail thought of. Bikes were small and very rusty could adjust seats. That was the only complaint. Would stay here again and again!

Perfect Kiawah Island Cottage

Tom's place was perfect for a family getaway. The neighborhood is so pretty, surrounded by trees, and close to the beach. Unfortunately Hurricane Debby disrupted our travel plans, but Tom made sure we were safe, and he kept us up to date with all the weather alerts from Kiawah Island. We are 100% planning to stay here again in the future. Thank you, Tom!!

New Years vacation

The neighborhood is very charming and although the pool was closed this time of year, the neighborhood's river dock is a great place to fish, do some crabbing, or watch beautiful sunsets. The cottage is a very short walk or bike ride to the beach! That was the best part about the location. It was really nice to have access to the owner's bicycles as there are miles and miles of walking/bike paths on the island.

Wonderful location. House was nice but very dated and wore. We will definitely return to Kiawah.

Enjoyed everything. Great communication with the property manager. He did a great job. House a bit wore, probably from constant renting.could use some fresh paint inside and update a few things. Enjoyed the bike paths, location to the ocean and pool. Sat down by the dock every night to enjoy the sunset.

Perfect Family vacation

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our week of vacation in this well appointed cottage. The host was very responsive to any issues. Would say the house could use a few more beach chairs, other than that we had every tee needed. The quiet, private inlet cove community was so pleasant. We would definitely return. Our kids especially loved biking around the island, on the beach, to fresh fields. The short walk to the beach was quick and convenient. The pool and dock area were very well kept and we enjoyed our time there. Looking forward to returning again.

Perfect Cottage

This is not our first time to Kiawah Island, and it definitely will not be our last. If we had our choice of any place we have rented to stay at in the future, this cottage would be it! It had everything we needed and was well kept. The owner was on top of everything. We felt like we were at home, and it was relatively close to everything we could have wanted. It was a short 3 minute drive over to Night Heron Park, close (5 minute walk) to the Duneside access to the beach, and was a 2 minute bike ride to the pool and dock (the sunsets are amazing from there). Having 4 bikes (2 adult and 2 kids) available for our use was a nice touch. I do want to mention that one of the kids bikes kept having the chain come off, and one of the adult bikes seat wouldn't stay in place, but we made due. It was a perfect getaway. Thanks for everything, and we will be looking in to renting from you again the next time we head that direction!

Accessible to everything by bike

The house worked nicely for our family of four. We loved the access to the river for nightly fishing and kayaking. It is a haul to the dock with a kayak, though. Would be nice if there was sanctioned access to the spots where owners can leave their equipment right close by. We had brought our own kayak and SUP, but there are tours/rentals just up the river at Mingo point too. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins strand feeding at low tide. The pool access was great as well - relatively quiet and nice! The bikes were a critical feature, as we used them to get everywhere. Kiawah is very accessible by bike, and the beach and dock were walkable, but a little too far to do comfortably with a bunch of gear. On the plus side, one of the bikes included had a beach wagon for hauling gear, but on the downside it was rusted in place so couldn’t be removed for longer rides, and the chains kept popping off all the bikes. Hopefully an upgrade/repair is planned as it was a nice plus to not have to haul our own along or rent them separately. The kitchen had all the cooking equipment we needed, though there was only salt and pepper for basic supplies provided. The convenience store within walking distance was nicer than we expected, and proximity to Freshfields for other groceries and dining was fantastic - although that’s the one place we didn’t go by bike as the trail has very little shade and it was hot while we were there. There are elements to the property that are a bit run down, but everything was functional and nice. It’s one of those neighborhoods where all the houses are close together, but it was quiet and lush, and it’s nice to not have to deal with the traffic at the main resort gate if you don’t want to. On the comfort side, hopefully the linens will be updated with the beds this fall, which the owner previously noted was happening, since the sheets were low quality/scratchy. Overall, very happy with our stay!

Great price and excellent short distance to beach

This is our 2nd time staying here and the distance to the beach and Freshfields is unmatched. We don’t spend a lot of time indoors, so this was perfect place for us. There are a few bikes that come with the rental which was great for riding around the island. Overall, great place for the price! Thanks again for opening your cottage to us!

Overall it was a great experience, the owner was very readily available. Downside of place was some items seem warn down. Leak in ceiling when heavy rain, outside shed door was broken
