Process was smooth and easy.place was clean,fully stocked with dishes,beach stuff,fresh towels..It was just a nice experience. DEFINITELY BOOKING AGAIN..

If you're thinking of staying here, I would skip it. The guy who owns this is a short term rental investor who, judging by his online presence, is more concerned with selling courses on how to make money with short term rentals than he is with providing guests with a good hospitable stay. Its pretty obvious that this place was bought as is and then flipped around to start renting out for as much as possible with minimal work put into it. When we arrived, there was mold on the water pitcher in the fridge (they replaced when we notified them). We also told them about mold on the shower curtain and on the soffit in the shower, there was sandy snorkel under the couch cushions when we pulled out the sleeper sofa, the sofa mattress was stained, and I found fingernail clippings under the mattress. The shower tub is dirty, there is grease and food caked on the inside of the microwave door, the cabinet fronts are dirty and the walls in the kitchen also have grime/food splatters in some spots. One of the towels I went to use from the closet was dirty/stained. Other than the pitcher, my message about all of the other things being dirty was ignored. No offer to replace the moldy shower curtain. He said they would bring us new towels but never did. Other than those things it was fairly clean. Not disgusting but also for the money, not things that are acceptable. Having stayed in countless places, It seems pretty obvious to me there isn't a high level of care put into this stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here. This was my first time in Maui and if I return (highly likely), I’d choose to stay at this property again. The place was well-cleaned & furnished with everything we needed. I was worried about the heat but due to the abundance of windows in the apartment & the breeze, I didn’t even need to use the AC. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed to make meals. There is a designated parking space for the apartment and communication with the host was good. Kelli shared an informative email right before check-in with all the best restaurants to eat at and places to visit. The bed is also super comfortable! We didn’t use the pool, but the apartment faces the pool, and was a great sight to see sitting on the balcony. Thanks Kelli for making my first visit to Maui such a success!

Not a Penthouse … 3rd floor walk up

For some reason, We expected an elevator - Seeing as it was advertised as a PENTHOUSE. We were celebrating our 41st Wedding Anniversary on Feb.5th so I had wanted to “splurge” and spend more money to have an extravagant accommodation! Our flight arrived at 10:30pm and the short taxi ride from the airport we are used to. When we arrived, it was dark and it was hard to find our unit. The taxi driver informed us that there is no elevator, and he helped us carry are for heavy bags up three flights of stairs. In the morning when we woke up, we thought we’d make a coffee. I had asked a few times if they could provide some milk so we could have a quick coffee before getting groceries in the morning. I did not get any response. We did not have a car in the morning we walked to Chi a Rent-A-Car And picked up our jeep were used to the walk so that’s not a problem. The parking spot for the vehicle was perfect. Very close to stairs to our unit. However, after getting back from Costco with all the groceries in the heat, it was a very hard haul up and down up and down up and down the stairs. This is not by any means of a penthouse. There was nothing elaborate or special about the accommodation that would define a penthouse. On inspection, the kitchen locked multiple equipment for people to cook their own meals. There was no large bowl, limited dishes, and very sparse cupboards. We had no ice cube trays, not one large salad /snack bowl at all. No soup ladle, or wooden spoons. Leaving guests to fend for themselves. There was a mention that there was some issues with bugs as it’s an older building, and that the exterminators would be there on Wednesday to spray, this concerned me but we continued on and didn’t ask any questions. The pest control people arrived, and we’re only spraying the foundation of the buildings. But as soon as the spray had finished, we noticed cockroach in the unit. The bed was extremely tall although a comfortable king bed. We aren’t short ppl, however we had to jump to get up onto it. ( it’s quite a physical procedure). There is no view it’s a view of the top of a few trees and the UNHEATED pool. The water view - is actually a view of the pool. There is NO hot tub ( or Jacuzzi) not sure why it says there is)? There is coin laundry in a room off the parking lot. Even though the description is written like there is a washer & dryer in the unit itself. We found this did NOT LIVE UP TO OUR EXPECTATIONS location is fabulous
