Amazing stay

Everything was perfect. Plenty of beach chairs cooler dishes. Great place to stay 1 minute walk to beach and 5 minutes to shops and food.

Excellent accommodations in a great location!

Absolutely perfect stay. Fantastic location and all the amenities you might need (and then some)! Owners are incredibly responsive and helpful. Some great places to eat within walking distance and beaches literally across the street. It's in a little quieter part of Kihei, which we appreciated. If we ever manage to return to Maui, I would 100% stay in this condo again!

Well equipped and nice owners

Overall really nice place. Not as updated as other units we've stayed in at Haleakala Shores, but it had lots of kitchen stuff if you plan to cook at the condo/down at the BBQs. My family and I had a great time and found communication with the owner easy.

Always the best location

Haleakala shores is in the best beach location in kehei. This apartment is very nicely finished and setup well for 4 adults with the wall partition and 2 baths. Very happy with all and would stay here again.

Maui sunset paradise

The pictures really dont do this place justice and the communication with the owner was incredible. The location is perfect as you are within a one minute walk of a beach/Park with plenty space to layout, reef to snorkel, and plenty of green turtles. Then, within a 5 minute walk, there must be 30 stores, 8 eateries/bars, and 5 beaches. If you drive a little further, inteitherhdirectioneare even more shops with a great selection of restaurants (a local) and live music. For Golfers, several courses are within 10 minutes and there plenty of spots for scuba and snorkeling. The road to Hana is also a wonderful day trip to take from this location. Everything was in working order and the place was set-up as if we were family coming for a visit and not guests. Everything you need for beach time was also provided by the hosts. The grounds were safe and inviting. There is a locked community pool with BBQ grill and ample seating that was used on occassion for family fun. The sunsets across the street at the beach are absolutely incredible! We found ourselves making time each day to enjoy that view! The host, Karen, was on premises and went out of her way to make us feel welcome from the moment our initial booking was made through our exit. If you are looking for a great location in Maui that is in the center of everythingwith great views, I would encourage you to look no further.

Did you forget anything?

We forgot a LOT of stuff. This unit has anything you think you might have left at home by mistake. The kitchen and both bathrooms is fully loaded, with anything you can imagine. All the information you need to get around the property is all laid out for you. And all the instructions Karen gives are super detailed. The unit itself is super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Family time

The property was as described and location was perfect! We walked across the street to see the sunset each night. Location is walking distance to shops. My kids loved the pool. We had a great time and look forward to going back! Mahalo

Spacious and well stocked!

Joe and Karen’s unit comes with all of the comforts of home. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, and cooking appliances. Having two bathrooms is also a plus and the master bath comes with separate sinks. The only minor issue during our stay was the noise from work crews doing a reroofing project and not always having access to our assigned parking stall during the day. But most times we were out exploring and hiking so it was fine. Karen is a very responsive host and communicated well with us. We so appreciated her bringing us a delicious raspberry cake! Mahalo Karen and Joe!

Maui stay!

This is an amazing place to stay for a family visiting Maui! The location is central, the beach is right across the street. It’s walking distance to lots of stores and food! The place can comfortably fit 6 people! Karen is amazing and will have everything setup for you with instructions and keys laid out. She also emails you in advance with lots of suggestions on what to do in the area! She also has all the beach stuff ready in the closet for you to take so you don’t have to rent anything! I would definitely stay here again!

Great location

We have stayed in this complex before (but not this unit) and we really enjoy the location. Quick walk to beach, shops and restaurants. We had issues with the living room AC not working which was disappointing however in speaking with Karen they are looking to get that replaced. The 2nd bedroom had an uncomfortable bed which caused sleeping issues. The kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated the “extra” appliances like the air fryer and crockpot! Karen and the management staff were VERY responsive on the minor issues we had while there. Would definitely stay again with a couple minor updates.

Lovely Stay

The property location was great, across the street from some of the nicest beaches on the island. We cooked our meals at the unit, fully stocked for any cooking needs. Would highly recommend it!

Great time in Maui!

We truly enjoyed out 18 night stay in Karen and Joe’s unit, they have absolutely everything you can think of in this unit…rice maker, crock pot, air fryer, toaster oven, blender, panini maker seriously EVERYTHING! Also beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie board… They had a few spices too which was nice! The fridge was nice and big with an ice maker, beds were comfortable, the unit had lots of room… Think comfort over luxury when you consider the unit…the complex is small but very friendly! Very well located in Kihei within walking distance of all the amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location

Great accommodations for our group of five! The central location is perfect for exploring all of Maui. Walking distance to the beach and lots of food options. The furnishings are a bit dated but kept tidy and there are a lot of amenities available. Would recommend!

Central, Comfortable, Convenient

We enjoyed our stay. It was a well stocked apartment, with almost everything we could need apart from groceries (and even then, there were lots of condiments and spices - we left some butter for the next guest). Safeway and the Times Market were a short drive away. The beach gear was a real blessing - four beach chairs, two boogie boards (our teens enjoyed immensely), lots of beach towels, umbrellas, and plenty of snorkel chairs. There was lots of sunscreen, too. The bathrooms had everything, but with five of us, we almost ran out of TP and we did run out of paper towels. We enjoyed having meals on the lanai where you can catch a distant glimpse of the sea. My husband grilled steaks down at the pool area and I enjoyed a refreshing swim there. Our teenage son connected his Switch to the TV so he could play games. We also watched shows on the living room TV as well the master bedroom TV. The only slight drawback was that It was a bit hotter and noisier than we expected. We kept it closed up during the day (all the fans were great), but one window in the bedroom with the trifold sliding wall had no way of closing so that seemed to work against the A/C in the adjacent living room. At night, we opened the doors and windows to cool it off, which meant hearing the street sounds and roosters crowing. Before bed, we pulled down all the blinds to keep out the light. It ended up working well to close up the master bedroom and turn on the A/C for a bit, so that cut out the noise in there. The location is conveniently located across the street from a great beach for sunsets, swimming, boogie boarding, strolling the coast, and picnicking on the green (it's a family park with playground). There was also a local arts & crafts fair across the street on Wednesday where I bought a handmade purse. Restaurants and shops are close by. Happy hour at Three's Bar and Grill was a culinary bargain! The rental owners were communicative and courteous. Karen greeted us when we arrived and replied to a text I sent later. The complimentary cake was an added blessing.

Christmas Family Vacation

The property and the location was everything we hoped for. This is our second time staying at this property and again the vacation was nothing short of spectacular. We walked across the road to the beach every morning and every evening to capture the sunrise and sunset and walked along the beaches and swam at the beaches, snorkelled at the beaches every day within walking distance. The location provided a base for short trips for snorkelling in the reserve, relaxing on Makena Beach, shopping in Lahaina, jumping off the rocks in Kaanapali and surfing on the north shore. We will definitely look at staying at this location on our next trip to Maui. Mahalo Joe and Karen.
