South Kihei's shops, cafes, and local restaurants are a short walk away, and Wailea is just a few minutes further when you're ready to explore.

The Neighborhood:

Kamaole Sands is located in South Kihei, one of Maui’s popular beachside areas. The resort sits across from Kamaole Beach Park III, with Kamaole Beaches I and II also nearby. The neighborhood has a relaxed, tropical feel with beautiful beaches, walking paths, restaurants, cafés, and shops close by.



It’s a great area for enjoying sunny beach days, swimming, snorkeling, sunset walks, and exploring South Maui. Wailea is also just a short drive south, offering additional beaches, dining, shopping, and resort experiences.



Getting Around:

Kamaole Sands is conveniently located along South Kihei Road, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Several beaches, restaurants, shops, and cafés are nearby. The Maui Bus Route 10 also runs along South Kihei Road, with stops serving Kihei, Wailea, and Kahului.



A car is recommended if you plan to explore more of Maui, including Haleakalā, the Road to Hana, or other areas beyond South Maui. Taxis and rideshare services are also available for shorter trips.
