** En 2019, la piscina permanecerá cerrada del 9 de septiembre al 16 de septiembre. Cada año, la piscina permanecerá cerrada por una semana, a partir del segundo lunes del mes.

Relajarse en su terraza privada o dar un paso fuera de su terraza en el césped bien cuidado, que le separa del océano por sólo unos pocos pasos. Este condominio frente al mar está situado en la planta baja. El dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio. El cuarto de baño está justo al lado de la habitación. El salón tiene un sofá cama, lo que permite a esta unidad alojar hasta dos (2) personas. Esta unidad cuenta con una cocina totalmente equipada y una lavadora y secadora para su conveniencia. Este es su hogar lejos de casa, pero esta casa está frente al mar! TAT # 195-809-0752-01

January getaway

We stayed at Sugar Beach resort in 2016 but a different unit. We have been trying to find a time to come back for a while and jumped at the chance for another ocean front stay. The location is perfect. Away from the crowds and resorts, but close enough to head into Kihei for breakfast, etc. It's great to have your own private beach steps from your lanai.

It has everything you need inside and the location is the best there is. Unit has all stainless appliances and front loading washer dryer unit. Bed is super comfortable, all towels are high end not thin. The fact is you go to Hawaii to be near the water and this condo is 10 steps from the sand. Sugar Beach is a very long beautiful beach and great for unobstructed walks. The couple who own this unit take very good care of it and me and my wife absolutely love it. We will stay in condo 133 every time we are in Maui. I would like to Thank the Owners so much for having us and we will see you again. Mahalo. JC.

Pristine Beach Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sugar Beach Resort Condo 133 has a quiet, ground floor ocean front location with secure bolt lock on the sliding glass lanai doors. Parking readily available out front. The pristine beach is just yards beyond the immaculate grounds of this low key 1970’s resort. Maui Condo personnel were very responsive to fixing minor issues in a timely manner. The unit had basic amenities with functioning A/C (which worked only if lanai sliding doors were closed). The unit holds 2 persons. If not sharing a bedroom, one individual may bring in their own air mattress to sleep on the living room floor. The condo was very clean upon arrival. Maui Sights &Treasures on site at the e resort are a helpful source of advice and beach gear. I found a sweet spot for swimming amidst gentle swells was directly out from the midpoint of the southern most building at the resort. One can walk or run for miles along the beach with little traffic in early morning. The resort never felt crowded (October 2022) and the condo location on the north end was ideal for noise sensitive individuals.

Nice quiet area for those not interested in crowds or shops. Towels will get stolen off the porch so don’t leave anything outside unattended.

Spectacular Vacation for our Ten Year Anniversary!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our oceanfront room was amazing! It was so much fun and relaxing to wake up to sounds of ocean waves every morning. We enjoyed being on the beach and snorkeling in the ocean everyday. I am an avid runner and enjoyed a few runs on the sandy beach. The location was great, for it was close to shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. When we returned home, I did shed some tears. I did not want to leave Maui. We will be back again!

July 2021 Stay

I’ve been in unit 133 for 6 days now and I have absolutely zero complaints. The unit is great, all new Kenmore appliances including stackable wash/dryer unit. Bathroom has floor to ceiling tile, glass door. So it feels like home. My wife and I are in our 49’s and we are completely fine with the atmosphere on this property. If you are young and looking for nightlife probably not your spot. Also, I’ve had zero issues with the neighbors. Everyone has been very friendly and polite. Both of us love the walkout, it’s the way to go. I will definitely rent this unit again. Thanks Daam for the great unit and experience.

A great place to enjoy the passage of time without Porters or Bellhops or Nightclubs or Luaus. Peaceful Kihei with on-site beach gear rental. They keep the grounds very manicured and clean. Great place to cook while avoiding the fiasco of dining out all the time. Friendly people abound... feels very safe too.

The condo was clean though it smelled musty for the first few days until we aired it out. The space was very comfortable for two people. I'd suggest leaving some cleaning supplies so that guests can do a quick clean especially if your stay is longer than a week. The location is wonderful with the beach outside your lanai. Sugar Beach is great for walking which we did every morning. The grounds are immaculate and I would recommend this condo as a great place to have a restful vacation.

Beautiful Getaway Escape

This is our second stay at sugar beach and it did not disappoint. We LOVED that this was a ground floor unit with super easy access to the beach. More updated than the unit we stayed at the previous year, and stocked with anything you need for an extended stay. Sugar beach is beautiful, affordable and conveniently located, but not in the middle of all the “hustle and bustle” We are already ready to schedule our next stay!

unit 133 is ideally located. this is our 5th stay at Sugar beach; stayed in different units. What greeted us when we opened front door was a mildew/musky odor. After 1/2 day I realized was doormat INSIDE condo. So I placed outside front door near the other door mat. problem solved. Since there are walls of mirrors, and we stayed 12 days, would be nice if unit had bottle of window/glass cleaner included.

We had a wonderful time. The Sugar Beach Resort was recommended to us by multi-time guests from Washington by the name of Westcott and we agree with them that the place is very enjoyable. The unit we had (#133) was just great. A ground floor, beach front unit... just what my wife & I wanted.

Beautiful condo with gorgeous views

We rented this condo for our 25th wedding anniversary and completely enjoyed our stay. It was clean, nicely decorated, has an excellent location to the beach, easy to get to from the parking lot, and had all the amenities we needed. The location made it easy to get to many attractions and some very nice beaches. The concierge service was a big help in making recommendations and planning our adventures. If we ever get a chance to return to Maui, we will be sure to stay here again.
