Perfection for us. The attention to detail on every level from cleanliness, comfort, security and fun is top notch. - But the expectations for greatly exceeded by the incredible holiday touches (Christmas) that made it all seem like a Hallmark holiday experience. The cabins are stocked with everything potentially needed and immaculately organized. It felt like a home. We rebooked our next stay before leaving.

This was a wonderful spot for a family fall break. We spent one day at Dollywood (a bit of a drive), and had thought we would do more in Knoxville, but the cabin and grounds were so comfortable that we just hung out there the rest of the time. We fished and enjoyed the hot tub, deck, outdoor games, board games, arcade, and visits from the friendly barn cats. The fresh eggs were a lovely surprise. One night we had a plumbing emergency and the hosts came immediately to fix it. We would definitely stay again!

Lil Ponderosa Has been the perfect place for us to spend our UT football weekend. The accommodations have been top-notch. We love having coffee on the porch and relaxing in the hot tub. We also have enjoyed exploring the property. It has been very convenient visiting my son at UT and attending the weekend football game. Communication with the hosts has been very easy and helpful. You can tell they care about providing a top rate experience for their guests. We certainly appreciate that! We will be back for future visits to Knoxville.

It was a great getaway. Clean, fully equipped, comfortable. The yard games were fun. The barn kitties were adorable and loving, the property was nice and quiet. So private, yet, so close to downtown and everywhere else.

Enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed Lil Ponderosa because it was spotless and we felt at home immediately. We slept well in the king sized bed that is super comfortable. The location is in between Maryville and Knoxville which worked perfectly for our trip. We can’t wait to stay on the property again. Great experience.

great weekend!

we had a great weekend at little ponderosa! the listing was exactly as listed in the description. it was exceptionally clean, and it is obvious that the owners/crew take very good care of it because not only this cabin, but the entire property was very well maintained/manicured. the stocked pond was a big hit for our group and we were able to catch and release a lot of fish. we also enjoyed sitting on the front porch swing/rockers. it feels very secluded, but we were still able to get to downtown knoxville in 15-20 minutes. there are other cabins on the property, but there is plenty of privacy at this cabin. we travel to east TN frequently, so we hope to be back in the future!

Perfect

These owners are exceptional! Everything you need is in the right spot when it comes to bath, kitchen, cooking, etc…. The cabin is so peaceful and beautiful. Sit on the front porch in the morning for your cup of coffee and take it all in. Or relax in the evening in the clean soothing hot tub! It’s times like these you make family memories enjoying the space, taking walks, soaking in the hot tub together. This is definitely the best Vrbo we have been to just for its serenity and feel. You’ll love it I promise!

Romantic weekend trip

My husband & I wanted a romantic weekend getaway & we couldn't of picked a better place. The cabin is beautiful & has everything you need. The property is in a great location to downtown knoxville but also very private in the country. We will definitely be back. The hosts were awesome!

Wonderful Getaway

The Little Ponderosa is a peaceful retreat. We enjoyed mornings on the porch swing listening to the rooster and watching the sunrise. There are lots of activities in the cabin and on site and it is close to Knoxville. We hope to be back.

Great little hidden gem!!

The Lil Ponderosa was a great place to stay. Originally I was worried it might be a bit far from where we’d be spending most of our time (the UT campus area) but it was actually only a 10-15 min drive, depending on the time of day. The cabin was clean and quaint and had all of the amenities you could want! And we loved hanging out with the barn kitty! We would definitely stay again.

This is by far the best VRBO we ever stayed at, and we’ve stayed at a lot of places! Very clean, quiet, comfortable and close to lots of activities. We would definitely stay there again.

This property including grounds and cabin are amazing. It is conveniently located near the city but you feel worlds away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This was a much needed getaway with family to relax, make memories and appreciate nature!

Amazing!

My husband, my daughter and her little family all stayed here and it was perfect! The cabin was perfectly clean. The property is beautiful! We enjoyed a little fishing in the pond, a walk in the woods, we played for hole, tether ball, and hot tubbed! It was the perfect little vacation just outside of Knoxville! We would definitely come again!
