Amazing

We were so impressed with the cleanliness, landscaping, activities, pool and hot tub temperatures (nice and warm) and the amazing rooms. Could not have been happier with this great hotel.

Time of our lives

Booked through VC for a client of mine. They had excellent things to say about the resort and “had the time of their lives!” They loved the location and relaxing wibe.

Room was as described inside but this room is just facing the parking lot. There is no garden view and you do not see any part of the garden. Room is clean. Property is clean. The pool and beach are amazing. Staff was not overly helpful, maybe to be expected at an owners property. And they said they would do room service once and never came. I would book the property again but a different room. You didn’t get what you paid for with this one.

Great family resort

My family and I had a wonderful time at the resort. We were traveling with two very young children and it was perfect. The pools were great and we loved the baby pool option. The beach couldn't be closer and we even got to see a giant sea turtle. The condos were comfortable and spacious and staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely return!

Best family resort in poipu

Great 2BR condo/suite in the Marriott resort. Location is perfect, with great walkability to shops, restaurants, pool, pool bar/restaurant, and beach. Travelled with a 2yr and 4yr old… room was spacious and perfect for frequent visits back for nap time and such. Full kitchen. Will be back!

Great Vacation

Vacation Candy was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns about the property, as this was our first time in Kauai and first time getting a vacation rental VRB. Would definately rent through them again. Thanks for all the help!!

Second time at Poipu

As promised the room had a great ocean view. Property is in excellent condition with very well cared for grounds. Rooms were very comfortable for the 2 couples in our party and resort staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice pool areas allowing for guest who wanted a quiet area to relax or for those wanting to swim with the grandkids. Beach was just a few steps away if you wanted to get away from the pool for a while. A great location for all the activities in the area and we would not hesitate to book again. Awesome vacation all around and what you would expect from the best of Kauai. Mahalo!

Great Property But Beware of "Island View"

We loved everything about the Marriott Waiohai Resort. Great 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. Pools were nice. the location by Poipu is perfect. Chaise Lounges on the grass for views of the ocean were plentiful. Staff was great. Restaurant was yummy. However, beware that an "Island View" can be a Parking Lot View! It depends on the owner's level with the Marriott Vacation Club. We were able to change rooms after 2 nights but that was just a lucky exception that they had the availability to do it for us.

Fantastic Resort

We were very pleased with our decision to stay at the Marriott Waihoi. Condo was nicely furnished & clean. The grounds were absolutely beautiful & the beach was amazing with all of the huge turtles & monk seals daily. The ocean was also fantastic for swimming & snorkeling! Needless to say, we were very entertained throughout our entire stay! There is only one small bar/grill on site, but multiple good restaurants within walking distance of the resort. The staff were accommodating & responsive to our needs. We’re already looking for a time to return to the resort!

best family vacation!

This hotel is beautiful and well located. IT really was the best place for a family vacation with something to do for everyone. We surfed, swam, played ping pong, fished, drank pina coladas and watched all the seals and turtles. It was a little paradise and well located. The place was clean, renting it was easy and everything worked out perfect! we had 5 comfortably and could have had more. Big units.

Perfect for us

This was such a good choice for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Unit was spotless. It is technically ocean view but really hard to see the ocean from where we were! I'd still stick with ocean view over island view though as you can get a view of a parking lot. The pools and beach are really great. Kauai is so beautiful with so much to see and do. We'd return here in a heartbeat

Great location

Our room at the Marriott waiohai was great! The pool was great, not too crowded... good drinks and decent food at the bar. The beach in front is nice. We often walked to Poipu with our kids which is a short walk. Would love to stay here again!

Heaven in Paradise

This was a wonderful resort. From the time we checked in till we checked out, everything was perfect. The pools were great for our family of five, staff was polite and helpful and you couldn't ask for better views. The on-sight games were great fun to take a break from the sun but not miss a moment of play. The availability of the hospitality suite was such a bonus. We played until it was time to leave and having the opportunity to shower and change even after checking out was great.
