“I travelled with my girl friend and we spent 6 amazing days at the Koia. One of the highlights was the staff - very good service and super kind & friendly. I rarely say this, but this is a case where our expectations were truly surpassed. This is an amazingly beautiful & relaxed hotel, the food is delicious and we enjoyed very nice live music. “I arrived in late (9:30pm) because of flight delays and the receptionist doing the checkin was very apathetic, to the point of being rude; it felt almost like if my presence there was bothering him. After that I had no issues with anyone, everyone was very formal and correct.
Also, watch out for ants in the rooms, never ever bring any food. I always carry some candy in my backpack and was dismayed to discover ants made their way into my backpack when I left.

주인 아주머니가 무뚝뚝해보이지만 매우 친절했어요. 위치가 좋지 않아 이동수단이 걱정되었지만 코스의 택시 드라이버가 여기를 모르는곳이 없더라고요. 새벽 12시 넘어 코스 공항에 도착해서 택시타고 가서 방에 들어가는데 전혀 문제 없이 매끄러웠어요. 이메일에 안내되어있는 대로 하면 끝!”

The rest was OK, food was OK, entertainment was also OK, the nearest beach right outside the hotel was nice (but with pebbles), and the drinks in the all-inclusive were basic but unlimited.
It was also a 15min walk from a few shops and bike and car rental shops. At night, the walk to these shops felt a bit sketchy though."
