Quiet Family La Jolla Vacation Home - Steps to Windansea Beaches & Village

  • Bright and open beach house in the village. This quintessential 2BD/2BA Beach & Barber Tract cottage offers a functional single story floor plan with tall ceilings in the family room, hardwood floors, fireplace, new appliances and comfortable furnishings. Brand new central A/C unit installed May 2020.

    Total of 1300 sq ft. Master bedroom has king bed with adjacent private master bathroom. Second bedroom has queen bed; living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen and large family room with LCD TV, cable and internet. Private patios offer outdoor dining, a gas grill and plenty of space to lounge. Patio is directly accessible from MBR, Dining Room and Family Room.

    Only four short blocks to the beach. View of the ocean from the front living room and entry patio. Private, off-the street parking. This great Village location is close to fantastic restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was so peaceful and comfortable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The fact we could walk to the beach was a great bonus. We would happily stay here again in the future. Thanks for being such a great host!!!

Weekend in La Jolla

The property was as advertised. Super clean, comfy, spacious and great walkable location close to restaurants, the beach, stores, shops. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location

The house is in a great location; literally 5 minute walk to the beach! Also close to a variety of great restaurants, coffee, ice cream. La Jolla Cove is also close by which is amazing.Communication with host was great.

Great house in a great location

A great house for a small group, 2-4 people. Well equipped kitchen and bath. Comfortable beds. Nice neighborhood, close to beach and downtown La Jolla. We hope to come back.

Mike left us instructions on where the key was and when w arrived everything was in place. The patio was great for the pups. We celebrated Christmas around the dining room table playing games and eating pizza. This home is within walking distance of Vons and CVS - although I wouldn't do your big shop to carry it home. Also, you can walk into town. This biggest plus was a driveway - you don't have to fight for a parking spot on the street! It is long enough for two cars. Mike, thank you.

La Jolla visit

We loved this house. It is lovely, bright and airy. The rooms are all large and the neighborhood is delightful. We enjoyed everything about our stay and would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect cottage

The rooms are much bigger and spacious than what you see in the photos. A comfortable place, walking distance to everything, super quiet, beds are comfy, and huge shower head was nice.

Great location, clean and quiet.

If you are looking for a place in La Jolla, this place is in a good spot to enjoy what it has to offer. Rear yard needs some clean up, but really wasn’t an issue as we spent a lot of time at the beach, which is a short walk.

Perfect spot in La Jolla

Very nice location in La Jolla. Close to beaches, restaurants and (most importantly) my son's wedding venue. Check in process and communication with property manager was excellent. House layout was great and had pretty much everything we needed. Hope to stay here again when we return to San Diego.

La Jolla family vacation

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay getting away from the cold MN winter and spending time with our son who joined us from LA. The home was just as advertised and met all our needs, the neighborhood was quiet and safe, and we especially enjoyed walking-distance access to restaurants and the beautiful beeches.

Very well situated near the beach, stores & a farmer's market that was there when we stayed. Dog friendly. Nice barbecue set up. Comfortable beds and pillows. No problems, all good!

Location, location, location

2 couples/ 2 weeks. Property was very comfortable with both inside and outside space. Many items stocked for both utility and recreation. Great space and location. Would definitely stay here again
