We found this wonderful house just minutes from the SDSU campus, where we rested and prepared for our freshman to move into the dorms. The pool was well used with temps close to 90 degrees all week. The house had everything we needed, although we did not cook much at all. There was also a drinking water faucet at the sink which came in handy when we ran out of bottled water! The neighborhood was very quiet and seemed safe and nice. We were a close drive to many restaurants and grocery stores so it was easy to get food and supplies. I would definitely love to stay here again. Amit was super responsive to my inquiries!

We had a great stay with Amit :) The house looks just like the pictures and is very cozy. We used the grill, pool and hot tub and everything was in great condition and obviously well maintained. The house had some nice extras, fancy fridge that made crushed ice for drinks by the pool, extra blankets in the closet to cuddle on the big couch, scissors, even first aid, everything we looked for we found. Thoughtful host who was very communicative. Great location close to the college music venue, we came down for a concert. Excellent spot we will absolutely be back!

This property was amazing for our family of four which included two young children. We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool and backyard which offered plenty of different areas to sit and plenty of shade. The house was also very comfortable and cozy. The new hot tub was a nice bonus. The kitchen and bbq were very high end appliances and were so clean they appeared to be brand new. Lots of privacy in the yard as well. The host was great and replies were almost immediate every time we reached out. We will definitely be looking to stay here again next time in San Diego.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay in this amazing home! I want to definitely book this home again! The host was tremendously attentive and responded quickly during my stay. The interior and exterior design was beyond my expectations. I did not want to leave, everything was perfect, I was obsessed! If you think the pool is the best part, you should experience the shower heads in the shower and cooking in that kitchen was insane! Chef’s kiss! We were so thankful to find this house to stay at during our visit to San Diego! The home is beautifully decorated, and the backyard is so much fun. Our entire family enjoyed swimming daily and nightly in the pool while having a nice to place to relax outside. The inside of the home is very pretty and comfortable. We always felt safe, and the neighborhood is central to almost everything which made it easy to travel and explore. The owner, Amit, was wonderful with communication. Whenever we needed anything at all, he was quick to respond and even when some minor issues arose that were out of his control, he fixed everything very quickly and even surprised our family with cookies. He truly cares about the people who stay at his home, and again, we are so glad we found this place! Thanks Amit for making our stay so enjoyable! If you’re looking for a place in San Diego to stay with your family, you wont regret booking here!

WOW! I just rented this incredibly gorgeous home for friends of mine visiting San Diego. I picked it because of the high design, central location, amenities, and swimming pool. It exceeded our expectations on every level. Located in a very nice quiet neighborhood, incredibly private and very well decorated. I cannot say, thank you enough for your hospitality, thoughtful, communication, and attention to detail. Really impressed. I am in property management for vacation rentals and corporate housing and can tell you that your service is top-notch! We will return!

Best Staycation in La Mesa

We stayed at this location to celebrate my husband's birthday, and I can truly say that the host Amit and this family-owned listing made it one of, if not THE, best stay we've ever had after doing over 5 years of property rentals. Amit was so kind to stock the fridge with a 12 pack to kick off the birthday weekend; but this house had absolutely everything our party of 4 needed for a three day pool staycation. Two minor caveats: we had our heart set on grilling, but the propane tank wouldn't ignite. Worse, the drip tray looked like it hadn't been cleaned in many stays, and I didn't expect that considering the directions for property asked for people to clean the grill and drip tray before checking out if it had been used. Additionally, the listing is just a tiny bit misleading; technically, there are two units on the property, not just the stand alone home as indicated in the description. When I read "home to yourself", I would think it would be the only building on the property, and there were others staying in the other unit in the property which we didn't expect. However, the pool is not shared and is only for the use of people booking this listing, which mattered most.Despite those two small caveats, it did not impede the 5 star rating this host and listing deserved. However, it still might be preferred to know those details if they are deal breakers, although they definitely were not for us. We would book this listing again in a heartbeat - thanks again, Amit!

A beautiful home for a beautiful gathering

We rented this beautiful property for 3 days as it was near our niece's home and a small family reunion. It provide us with a fine and reasonable resting place but to our surprise, a place for three families with little girls to enjoy an afternoon swim. It is lovely from top to bottom, with a kitchen that is first-class and appointments throughout the home to match. It is the nicest VRBO we've stayed in. Our host was gracious and engaged. The only negative was three parties in the neighborhood on near and/or adjacent sites, a inconvenient stroke of bad luck. Otherwise, it was very peaceful, quiet and safe. We plan to rent the property again, should it be available for next-years family reunion.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. From booking to checking out, everything was easy. Communication with the owners was great! If I had a question, they responded quickly. The house is beautifully decorated and my family felt very comfortable. Our family really enjoyed spending time by the pool and swimming. The patio area is perfect for relaxing so we got a lot of uno games in. I loved that the kitchen had everything we need to cook our family a meal. We would definitely stay here again!
