“Staff lovely, room clean and comfortable, parking easy. BUT… room was close to the corridor fire doors and main doors. Felt like the doors were banging behind our heads every time they closed. Really dreadful night’s sleep meant a super hard day and a difficult drive home the next night. A hotel has one job, a good night’s sleep. “Parking was very easy and staff were amazing. Only thing I would comment on is the room we were in was looking a bit tired and was in need of a deep clean a lot of dust in higher up places and the breakfast should have more options.”

“There was rubbish under one of the side tables and the head boards were disgusting, the kettle would not click off unless switched off at the wall. Blinds were broken and the walls were badly in need of paint. The water did not get hot out of the tap. Staff were nice, but room was not worth the money, and breakfast consisted of a loaf of bread and a coffee machine.”

“Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. ”
