  • You'll love this beautiful gardened setting within walking distance to Lake Ann Village, 15 minutes to Traverse City, minutes to Leelanau County & the National Shoreline. Your Burnett Nestt is an upper level, fully furnished 2 room apartment including a lovely covered porch, private entrance & foyer. Businessman, S.S. Burnett, was the original owner of the home and it was moved in 1902 from Ransomville (down Lake Ann RD) after 3 fires demolished the thriving village.

Artful decoration throughout. Private wrap around porch! So many thoughtful provisions in the kitchen and bathroom. Gorgeous perennial gardens with multiple seating areas to enjoy.

Charming Lake Anne Home

This home is charming, the suites have everything one can need, and the property includes beautiful gardens and fountains. I have stayed here twice now and loved both experiences!

We loved the place and the host. Best place we’ve ever stayed and will for sure come back. Place was sweet, filled with amenities and very clean and comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful Cottage!

This was perfect for our stay for the Master Gardener Conference at Interlochen. The garden and property is beautiful beyond words and the apartment we stayed in was so cute! We loved this and would stay again!

Lovely home and gardens

The apartment was exactly as listed. We enjoyed the private porch, meeting the dogs, and the convenience of the location for the Sleeping Bear region. Wonderful stay.

Perfect Getaway!

Great location for a concert at Interlochen and exploring the cute Northern Michigan lake towns. We enjoyed bike riding the trails, shopping and dining.

This beautiful property in Lake Ann village is perfect for whatever you want to do in the area. This trip was a family visit from my niece. The nest is delightfully decorated and has everything you need!

Perfect Location!

This beautiful home is in the perfect location to explore. Also, across the street is the perfect combination of restaurant (good food!), brewery (also delicious), and ice cream (yummy!). The room was clean and comfortable with all of the necessities. Would definitely stay again!

Lake Ann

This property is absolutely gorgeous and the apartment is charming, comfortable and very clean. The private front porch is dreamy. Lake Ann is a cute little village with a coffee shop, brewery and restaurant a short walk away. It was the perfect location for a trip up to Traverse City one day and Sleeping Bear Dunes another day. We loved this place!

Great Stay!!

We had a great time staying here and exploring the National Lakeshore. Barb was very flexible and responsive, and had obviously worked hard to ensure everything we could need was available. The house and gardens were beautiful, and a very short walk to Lake Ann's restaurant, brewery, ice cream, general store, etc. Overall we just had a really great stay!

Absolutely Perfect

Everything we wanted. Beautiful, clean, well appointed, and stocked with anything you could need! Location was quiet yet convenient. 20 to 30 minutes to all area destinations/attractions. Barb and Dash were wonderful hosts!

This was just the right size for my husband and I. The gardens are so beautiful you can't help but relax. The location is close to everthing, but far enough to be away from the crowds. Lake Ann is a little gem

Cozy and wonderful!

This was in the perfect location for all the things we like to do in the area. The front porch was a dream - the perfect spot to begin and end the day. We had everything we could need or want. And Barb (and Ivo and Dash the spaniels) were very friendly!

Excellent place!

Barb was an excellent host and this place is exactly as described! Great location in that it is central to everything around like Traverse City, Leland, Suttons Bay, etc. and walking distance to a brewery, restaurant with outdoor seating and live music, and an ice cream stand. It was perfect for us, not cramped at all, and a great set up in a beautifully maintained yard and garden. Would definitely rent again when in the area.
