“The history of the cabin in itself is reason enough to stay there. It’s a great location on the river. It is a great place to relax and just enjoy the subtle sounds of the river rapids. “We had an amazing time at this property in Ouray. The location was perfect- it was easy to get downtown or onto the perimeter trail. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. There is AC but even though it was hot outside, we never really needed it with the overhead fan and the breeze through the windows. I appreciated that the owners left us a lot of open space for our stuff (lots of hooks, closet space, etc.). Overall it was excellent!”

We stayed in this cabin when our children were small and it was very nice that they added a washer/dryer, even though it did take quite a bit of room out of the bathroom. It was definitely worth it for being able to wash clothes. Tankless water heater was great for all of the showers.”

“This place was wonderful to stay at. The place was clean and tidy. It’s both cozy and modern. The beds were super comfy. The washer/dryer were nice to have since we stayed almost a full week. One of our favorite things was going out in the hottub late at night and seeing the stars so clearly. We would definitely stay again if we came to this area again. ”

“Absolutely beautiful place to get away from it all. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We stayed in late October from south Texas and were treated to snow flurries, something we don’t ever see. We had endless hot water, luxurious linens and plenty of space to lounge around. I am thinking about returning mid summer for more relaxation.”
