“We sat in the lobby for 10 minutes waiting to check-in. I had to search for someone/anyone that could find a front desk employee. “Quiet hours” were anything but quiet. It began on the morning of our second day. At 8:00 a.m. is sounded as though someone was sliding furniture across the floor, followed by LOUD banging of doors and stomping up and down stairs. “This was our second time celebrating my husband’s birthday and our anniversary at Seven Oaks, and as always, the overall atmosphere was lovely. However, we were a bit disappointed with the room prep this stay. We found trash inside the nightstand, the bathroom bin was full, and the candle by the tub was non-functional. “Room & view were great. Prob the best in Lake Geneva. Restaurant & bar had really friendly & attentive team members. However, the hvac fan ran all night & sounded like a loud jet engine & the thermostat was very difficult to understand. The display timed out very quickly so if you didn’t know what to do, you had to start over. This was a big miss I think, and the only directions in the book were “call the front desk” :(”
