The home was lovely and the kitchen well equipped. Plenty of sleeping space and a walk down the path to the lake. (I'd say equivalent to a 4 block walk, but no streets to cross.)

This property was great! We loved the pool & lake, and having club passes was great! We also had the deer friend, with two babies, at our back deck every morning which was so amazing to see! Would stay again!

Great getaway

So wonderful to have a few relaxing days w the family and our pup could come too. I was anxious that house may have a pet smell but it was clean and lovely. Use of club pool and lake beach was added bonus. Communication stellar!

Avoid at all costs

If I could give this property zero stars I would. The photos made it seem as though the property was updated, but in reality there are random renovations, but items such as the kitchen drawers are broken and the amenities are comparable to those found in a thrift store. We left after one night because the mattresses were not even real mattresses. There is some box spring wrapped in plastic and on top of it there is egg carton foam, also wrapped in plastic. I am pretty sure that the mattresses in prison are better than these. There was dried rice left on the table and dishes in the dishwasher. We requested money back for the nights that we did not stay, and the owner ignored our request completely. The whole situation was criminal. Don’t waste your time or money with this place.

Beautiful Spacious House

We had a great time at the house! It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lots of room for the whole family to live and move around. It is designed well to give mommy and daddy some privacy upstairs away from the kids.The beds were very comfortable ("Daddy, I like the bed at the rental more than my bed at home") and plentiful. The kitchen was perfect for our cooking needs with ample space to eat at the large table or kitchen counter. Two sinks in each bathroom allowed for hand washing/teeth brushing time with minimal "I'm first" arguments. The large soaking tub was perfect for post-rafting relaxation. We also enjoyed the included pools and beach at the beach club. We all had a terrific stay! While putting the kids to bed on the first night of our stay one of them said, "Daddy, when we come back here next year..." The only thing that would have made it better was if we could have stayed longer!! We would definitely come back here again.

Lake Peace

Property was as described and owners were prompt to answer any questions. All were impressed with property and enjoyed watching the wildlife. Access to the lake club was a wonderful bonus. Hope to visit again.

Great location!

Our family and dogs loved staying here for a week vacation in February during the week it was a nice quiet area and we were able to escape the crowds on the weekends it’s more active. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended this rental to our family and friends!

Perfect for a long weekend

My husband and I rented this for our family to have a couple days away. Our kids range in age from 25 to 17. Plus we had significant others and three dogs. Everyone had a great time just relaxing. The place comfortably held all of us. Clean, cozy, and has everything you needed. We are definitely coming back. I highly recommend!

Great Christmas Week Stay

Great condo in a great location. Just off the lake and a very short trip to Big Boulder. Also a short walk to the restaurant. House clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities. Check in/out as simple as it gets.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Good experience, overall. Michelle was very responsive and helpful. We were there to celebrate our anniversary. The last two nights the ac was not reaching the temperature we set it to so it was a little uncomfortable since we are used to sleeping at a certain temperature and we had 2 dogs that generate a lot of heat. Hopefully they can get that straightened out. Overall, we liked the home and had a good time.

Wonderful week!

Property was very clean and well appointed, and the 2-floor layout afforded privacy for both of us and our son’s family. We had a rainy week, but there were train rides, indoor water parks, and a trip thru a coal mine to entertain the kids. We enjoyed the pools,lake, and paddle boating at the Boulder Club when the sun came out. Wonderful vacation. Host was very attentive. Will go again. Our thanks to Michelle.

Great place for a small group getaway

We stayed in July with seven adults and three children. There was plenty of room for everyone. Great place for people looking to spend a bit of time outdoors. Everything was close to the house (lake club, pool, tavern) and easy to walk to. We couldn’t use the lake or beach because of bacteria levels in the lake but they said it is normal for this time of year (just an unfortunate circumstance), so we went to the pool (heated!) and had a great time. Point being: even when something didn’t go as planned, there was plenty to do instead. The home is a cute, homey place to getaway for a few days!

Wonderful family getaway!

The hosts were very nice, quick to respond to questions and everything was exactly as they said. The house was awesome, in a good location with a nice beach and restaurant. Will definitely be returning for another vacation! (The only downfall which has nothing to do with hosts but the Boulder Lake Club closes way too early at 5pm and wish they had more activities for dogs.)

Weekend Getaway

Great spot for a family weekend getaway this summer. Listing is exactly as described and shown in images. My family and I had a great time utilizing the access to the Big Boulder Lake club. The house had toys and sand supplies perfect for my 1.5 and 3 year old. We also stopped by nearby Hickory Run State park on our way home to see the waterfall and boulder field, which were hits as well.

Beautiful home with amenities

I enjoyed my stay in this well maintained clean cabin that provides the essentials. The little details were so impressive. The hostess blew my mind with her attention to detail, and willingness to accommodate. She is gracious and thoughtful. The scenery is beautiful. The location is great. The complimentary passes to the lake club were generous and appreciated. Overall an excellent experience. I hope to return one day.

Relaxing stay next to a beautiful lake

The property is as described. The communication was great during the booking process and check in was smooth. We really loved the area as its right on the lake and has a nice little lake beach which my son and dog enjoyed very much.
