Great family time, great house

Spent a weekend with the family for a wedding at the resort and we had a great time staying together. The house was comfortable and spacious for us all. Many amenities to take part in, we were just short on time with the wedding schedule. Would love to come back to spend some leisure time and take advantage golf and activities the resort has to offer. The golf cart was a change of pace in getting around the property.

50th Birthday with friends

We had a great time celebrating our friends 50th birthday. The remodeled house was amazing and had everything that we need to enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces. We cooked many meals with no problems and drove into Lake Lure for a visit. Golf car was also an added bonus that allowed us to ride around and look at the neighborhood. Hope to visit again.

Amazing 2 week stay!

Spent 2 weeks at Altitude Adjustment in August with our kids and grandkids aged 2 & 5. This beautiful home was thoughtfully appointed with wonderful amenities. We especially loved the wrap around windows throughout the home - gorgeous views and wild turkeys who visited most mornings! Our 5 year old loved the bunkbeds and the 2 year old had a ball running around on the deck. We Loved having access to the golf cart and used it almost every day. The facilities at Rumbling Bald were terrific - from lake access to mini golf to tennis and, our favorite, the pool and the Lazy River. Glad to have a restaurant on-site as the main part of Lake Lure was about 25 minutes away. Dan was a great host and responded quickly to our questions. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect lake vacation.

comfortable, clean home in fun resort area

My family of 6 loved their stay at this resort home! The well-stocked kitchen with dining and living areas on both sides made it fun to prepare and eat meals. We grilled on the large deck and enjoyed watching the wild turkeys and deer. The golf cart was a great addition, making trips to the beach, putt-putt, pool, tennis, and golf hassle-free. The beds were comfy, appliances brand new, and the owner was super quick to tend to even minor issues. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing trip to Lake Lure!

In love

Attitude Adjustment has become our family’s favorite house. The openness of the living area allows for interaction between family as meals are prepared. The large table was perfect for meals and game night. With the many windows, we felt like part of nature even while indoors. The beds were the best we’ve experienced in a vacation rental. The upstairs master bedroom’s mattress was so comfortable. There is so much to do, the kids were at the pool every day, several rounds of golf and putt putt were played. Our avid mountain bikers enjoyed the on-site trail every morning. The golf cart was an added plus. For the outdoor enthusiast, there is so much to do and easy access to all; biking, hiking, tubing and so much more. Attitude Adjustment is a five-star stay.

Ship Shape!

The property was just right for the size of our group and amenities provided. Unfortunately we found that the gas operated fire pit would not light and should probably be looked at by a technician. Overall, very comfortable and ship shape in a beautiful setting!

Beautiful home in a great location!

We had a wonderful trip! I did a list of searching for the perfect house and we found it. Loved all of the dog friendly touches. The kids loved the basement. The golf cart was a huge bonus for us!

Wonderful Lake Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Altitude Adjustment! The house was clean and comfortable with a beautiful new kitchen. We loved the location very close to the lake and beach, and the kids enjoyed riding along in the golf cart! The owner was quick to respond to all of our questions. Thanks for a great vacation!

Beautifully Renovated home in Rumbling Bald Resort!

The home was great, had everything we needed, all the modern conveniences, while being very private and beautifully situated amongst trees, a pond, a river, and a golf course!

The main floor is open and great space for the family. The area is beautiful with plenty of things to do for the whole family. We had a great time. We specially enjoy the golf cart.

The allure of Lake Lure

The house and property was fantastic and was the best part of our short trip to Lake Lure. Even with the cable and internet going down on the next to last day we still had plenty of games and places to explore without using our devices . From a golfers point of view the course at Rumbling Bald has seen better days . The course at Apple Valley was marginally better . All restaurants in the area were closed Monday and Tuesday so be prepared to travel a good bit on curvy roads if you want to dine out . The pools were also closed during the week , but the Lake and beach was good enough for me . I had been to Rumbling Bald back in its early days and remember a much different resort . As far as the house goes it was the best house I have ever rented . MG

Horse Show Get Away

The crisp mountain air, the sound of the babbling brook across the way, and the scenery make getting in your car and going anywhere else difficult. Beautiful and very comfortable home.

Amazing Time!

Overall our stay was fantastic! The house was truly beautiful, clean and a joy to be in. We loved all of the space in the house and location overlooking the golf course/mountains. We stayed for three nights, whether we were enjoying the view with some coffee from inside the house, sitting on the deck or watching a movie with the kids at night we had a blast. The electric fireplace, walls of windows and huge table really made it hard for us to leave the house each day! We were super close to mini golf, beach/lake and dining within the resort. Our favorite activity hands down was kayaking on the lake which we rented within the resort. We also took a day trip to Chimney Rock and the kids enjoyed gem mining. The owner was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions, they even left us some local coffee to try which was fantastic (mad mountain mama coffee). After checking out, we stopped in downtown hendersville to walk around and have lunch. The town has a bunch of shops and restaurants. We even bought some mad mountain coffee to take home with us. We will definitely be back and stay here again!!
