Perfect weekend getaway

The property was great. Clean and easy to find. The kitchen (and the entire house) was very well appointed and had everything we might need. Super quiet neighborhood. We all loved the more than fair and super simple check out instructions. I would happily stay here again!

Great stay in the Lazy Bears Den. Clean and cozy, the cabin was as advertised. Great location and close to everything. Some cooking spices, oil, coffee etc would have been a nice touch, Overall very comfortable.

Everything was great! Just as described.

Clean, tastefully appointed, well stocked with kitchen supplies. Management was extremely responsive and also provided a snow shovel and car brush in anticipation of an upcoming snow storm. Would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely nothing to be desired. Ten minutes to everything. Spotless. Cozy. What little heat we desired in early June was amply provided by the gas log. Backyard great, we grill cooked and ate outside two nights. Kitchen has everything. We are long time Verb-Os and this has to be one of the best.

Big and comfortable cabin, it has everything we need it to make us feel like home. So many cookware options. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary stuff to cook. they have containers in different sizes. I traveled with 4 little girls, the place was perfect and spacious for the kids, they loved the family room because it has a TV. The backyard is huge. Only thing missing was coffee and sugar. But we got our own and it was fine. I really enjoyed it. Great place to stay, highly recommended.

Fun bear decor and comfortable furnishings, including cozy throws, and easy to use TV. There was a separate TV for streaming, which is a good idea for guests. There are plenty of nice appliances and dishes to accommodate cooking a big meal. We may do so on a future stay. Only used the primary bedroom, which was very comfortable. Big back yard, and a fairly quiet neighborhood. We'd stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and responsive

Very nice 2BR. All was as described. Michelle was great, accommodating our requests for a slight schedule change and for an early check-in, promptly providing a hair dryer when informed there had been none (we left it in the master bath vanity), and generally being on top of everything and immediately responsive. Thank you again Michelle! Our only critique was that several of the lights flicker, perhaps due to bulbs or lighting fixtures being incompatible with dimmer switches. But otherwise all was terrific. In particular, the heated floor in the master bath is a very nice touch! Thanks again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice, spacious house. We didn't find anything missing that we expected to have. There were nice plush towels and comfortable beds. There was a small assortment of kids games/toys and lawn darts/cornhole games outside. From what we could tell, the garage was not accessible to guests--not an issue in the summer but maybe with snow in winter. Everything is a drive from the house but there is a lot to explore within short driving distances. South Lake Tahoe is definitely more of a regular town feel as compared to the more touristy north side Kings Beach where we also stayed. Only additions we would recommend are more lighting around dining table and addition of umbrella and/or beach chairs for summer guest use. There were four nice beach towels provided.

Property is a short drive to South Shore attractions. It is a lovely, clean, and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. Well supplied with kitchen implements and dishes. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Clean and Good value

The Good: The two bedroom house is spacious and welcoming. It has a great layout; it includes a second family room complete with toys and games for kids. The backyard is welcoming and quiet. Kitchen has a thoughtful assortment of utensils and equipment (cast iron pans are in the pantry!). The TV has HBO. The neighborhood is very quiet and scenic. The Bad: This house wasn't as secluded as it appears in the photo, which caused a problem for me as I like to have a lot of natural lighting but the windows looked out onto neighbors. The lighting provided drove me nuts, especially in the living and dining room as there are no direct overhead lights. Many of the windows are difficult to open and close. Thankfully, there were three standing fans and multiple ceiling fans provided for cooling. Bring your own coffee and/or tea- the Keurig pods tasted terrible! The Surprising: I saw a bear outside multiple times on the last night that I was here. The night before, I had left one of the back doors open for ventilation (with the screen door shut). I am really glad the bear didn't visit that night and that I had taken out my trash and anything smelly from my car when I arrived.

Perfect Getaway

The house is very clean, comfy and very homey. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need as far as dishes, pots & pans, utensils, appliances etc. It was a wonderful home to spend the week celebrating our anniversary.
