“We throughly enjoyed our stay in this 2 bedroom condo in the Honua Kai resort. We have previously rented many condos but none were as clean at this one was upon our arrival. Communication with the host, Fereshteh was excellent. We had one small issue that was resolved quickly. Some of the small details included: shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in each shower; dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, garbage bags,use of 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, pool noodles and cooler. “Honua Kai resort is lovely. Multiple pools for all ages. Duke's restaurant very good. Our accomodations were adequate, not luxurious. Staff is accomodating. Property manager has the reputation of being "strict" according to valet service, so don't try to check in before 11!”

“Great unit and location. As others stated the unit is dated but it was very clean and has everything you need as well as extras like beach equipment, chairs, a cooler and lots of kitchen essentials. Walking distance to ABC, a grocery store and food trucks. The view was outstanding and the pools and grounds were beautiful. Would definitely book this unit again. ”

“This is a perfect unit in a very nice building right on the waterfront. The unit was clean, very comfortable and well appointed. There was even a blender to make smoothies. Great view of the beach and the ocean. The lobby, barbecue and parking were spacious, clean and easy to use. Great location and good access to shops and restaurants. We’ll be coming back for sure!”

“The view was breathtaking! Definitely the reason we would come back. However, a few things that didn’t meet our expectations were the following: -overall checkin was frustrating and communication was lacking from the property management company. -lack of items in unit such as towels. None in the kitchen and no face towels. -shower/bathroom was a bit untidy when we arrived. -listing is a bit deceiving as the photos show the ocean front pool which is not apart of the complex. “Hotel is still recovering from wildfire events last summer, so breakfast restaurant is still not opened and you receive a kind of breakfast pack if your booking includes it. Other than that, staffing is gentle and helpful, hotel activities are pretty interesting and recommended if you want to learn about Hawaian culture and traditions. The beach is incredible and the location is top. Hope they can recover everything and back to normal soon to give guests all the potential this hotel has.”
