“The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience.”

“The property was very well maintained. We couldn't enjoy the firepit or the trail located behind the home due to rain but we enjoyed the fireplace and the home itself. Plenty of room, very clean, wonderfully stocked kitchen...could tell the owners really cared about their guests. The location is fantastic, less than 10 minutes to West Jefferson and 14 miles from West Jefferson to Boone. We have definitely found our destination for future trips.”

“It was a very nice place! The views were great and surrounded by a Christmas Tree farm! The kitchen had all the amenities. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. A lot of history and a nice mix of modern all in one. The owners were very accommodating. The TV would never connect to the internet, and cell phone set was spotty. I met a wonderful family up the hill that went above and beyond to help us out and got us up and down the icy roads to the asphalt road so that we could head home. What a blessing they were. “My husband and I ran away for Thanksgiving. It's a holiday that stresses me out so away we went. We live in Florida, but my heart belongs to the mountains. This adorable cabin is tucked away in the mountains so you feel secluded. It's 400sqft of just right. We loved the decorations and look. “It was very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day as well. It was nice to have a dishwasher in a cabin. We drove to Grayson Highlands and hiked 2 different days.
