  • Welcome to the Barefoot Bungalow. Our home is a 7-year old cottage style home that features 2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom, a loft for extra space, fully stocked kitchen, full size auto blow up mattress and a sofa bed. Private patio with a grill and an outdoor rinse/shower.

    This home is a short walk to both the beach or bay and a 5 min drive to the Seaside Boardwalk/Lavalette business district.

    This house is allowed 4 guests maximum by the laws of the community.

Great bungalow

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great and near all the restaurants. The house is updated and comfortable and the owner was very nice and responsive.

Lovely Beach Bungalow

This beach bungalow is in a fantastic location and exactly as described. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our stay. We greatly appreciated the smooth communication with the host, who was responsive throughout our visit.

Nice beach weekend

This was our first time to the northern beaches of New Jersey and it was a very nice place and we enjoyed our stay. Michael was a great host.

Holiday getaway

Our second time staying here and loved it again. We visited family & friends for the holiday and loved the house. The hosts are EXCELLENT. Very accomodating.

Barefoot Bungalow is a gem!

Had a wonderful time at the Barefoot Bungalow! Beautifully updated, cozy and convenient to beach, bay, and restaurants. Loved the sandy streets and the pristine beach. Our host was very accommodating, responsive and easy to work with. We look forward to visiting and staying here in the future!

Charming bungalow

Having lived in Lavallette for years, we know the location was almost impossible to beat!Very clean and neat. Just as pictured.Our little dogs enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood.Would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Great location, short walk to the beach and to see the sunset on the bay side. Nice and quiet surrounds and peaceful. Quick drive to lava java for the perfect coffee and breakfast! Love the loft upstairs to hang out and play board games.

Fabulous stay

Wow the photos don’t do justice for how clean and lovely this rental is. High end furniture, kitchen and bath make it luxurious. The loft is perfect for teens to hang out. Located near all attractions, restaurants, beach, bay and more. Highly recommend to all that like the finer things in life and just relaxing!

Charming for a brief stay

My 3 kids (ages 12-16) and I drove up from VA with our puppy to spend Thanksgiving with my husband, an airline pilot who had to fly a charter to nearby Trenton. We were able to cook our entire Thanksgiving meal in the well supplied kitchen, and had just enough space for all 5 of us to enjoy the meal at the little dining table. Despite the need for a few upkeep items (cracked toilet seat, dangerously wobbly Ikea bar stools/chairs, and a moldy shower curtain liner), the place was charming and comfortable for a 2 night stay. It was off season, so we had a nice quiet stay, with almost nobody else there. It is a very short walk to the beach, and located in a very charming little village of cottages. We truly enjoyed it.

10/10 jersey shore must stay!

My husband and I have done a lot of rentals all over the east coast and this house is by far the most comfortable we have ever stayed in. It has all your modern amenities wrapped up in a beautifully decorated home thats a super easy walk to the beach. We were so grateful to be able to bring our dog who settled in very quickly and loved walking around the area. The beds were so comfy and the AC was nice and cool which made for a perfect sleep after a day in the sun. You can easily walk to Donuts Plus, Wawa, Lasolas and Barrier Island Burgers. Mike was super responsive and detailed with everything you need to know. We cannot wait to come back again next year!!!

This beach house is a rare gem! It's set in the perfect location. We stayed here in October and couldn't have been more pleased. The hosts are excellent with communication too, which is so important. You want be disappointed staying here...

Wedding weekend

Stayed for three nights only had one good weather day. House is in a quiet peaceful neighborhood located waking distance to Beach, DQ and WaWa Ideal spot for beach Lovers, everything in the house looks New Very Nice place.

Originally from the area, we planned a trip to the beach area of Jersey to see family & friends. The house was exactly how it was described. We truly enjoyed our stay and it was very relaxing.

Easter at the Shore

Easter trip to the Jersey shore during off season. Rental provides cozy accommodations in a fun location - Walking distance to ocean and bay. Close to beach and boardwalks. Key code entrance made a late check in easy. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a small dog. Newly renovated. Clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay again.
