Very convenient and spacious apartment - the only one on the 5th floor. Lovely to be able to sit on the balcony in the very hot weather, as the flat was quite hot. There is a fan but it wasn't particularly effective. Plenty of storage space, a huge TV and big living area. Comfortable bed. A few minor niggles - the flat feels a bit tired. Loose carpet in the hall, and loose floor tiles in the bathroom. The bathroom extractor fan did not seem to be working. Some of the venetian blinds were in poor condition. The freezer needs defrosting (unable to open the top drawer at all), the pans are hung very high up and a shortie like me can't actually manage to put them back up, though not a problem to unhook them. Rather short of biggish bowls for serving food. There is no obvious electric plug near the desk area. None of these issues would stop us from booking again if we return to Leeds, It's a great flat and with a bit of a freshen up and attention to detail could be stunning.

Convenient to city centre and felt safe, clean. Siiting room was large. Breakfast in the form of milk and cereal boxes provided. However it was more of a tired city 5th floor flat than an amazing penthouse. Some amenities did not work.. eg washing machine, coffee machine, cooktop didnt switch on, tv glitched and was not connected to internet, and furniture was broken... blinds, bedroom drawers.

Great property with easy access to parking, close to city center and Martin is an excellent host. Second stay and will definitely be returning.

Great penthouse apartment close to city centre and next door to a multi-storey carpark with plenty of parking spaces. (If you drive there, this is a significant benefit.) Getting in: host Martin sends you a code to gain access to the building's small lobby, where you have to locate a key box and enter another code to get hold of two keys: one to get you from the lobby into the main bit of the building; the other to get into the apartment. There's a lift or a staircase, if you'd rather. The apartment is on the fifth floor (if memory serves) and is spacious. You enter a corridor with a double bedroom on the right, a bathroom on the left, and a large and surprisingly tall open-plan living/kitchen area at the end. Lots of large windows. A door out onto a balcony/terrace featuring a couple of chairs and a table. In the living area, there's a large sofa facing a TV. The kitchen area wraps around one wall, has a 'bar' and barstool, and is generally well equipped. When I went, the place was well provisioned. The kitchen had all the cooking staples - salt, pepper, oil, sugar, breakfast cereals etc. and even fresh milk in the fridge. There was washing up liquid and soap, and soap/shower gel/shampoo/loo rolls/towels in the bathroom. On departure, I was asked to lock the door to the apartment behind me and drop the keys through the letterbox. Easy. The place is a little 'tired' in places, but that's nitpicking: it served my purpose perfectly. Good for a two people.

After an initial blip in communications, entirely my own error, I was delighted to have sorted and Sherri (co-host) was superb in sorting. It made a real home from home feeling. A fabulous stay and a real find for me. Will certainly ‘be back’.

Great Property within walking distance of the centre of Leeds. Simple to find, easy to Park and the communication from Martin was timely and helpful. Will definitely be looking to stay there again next time I go up to Leeds.

Amazing location

Great location and parking right across the road. Could do with a refresh to make it a bit more homely. But the price was right for what you get.

The apartment has everything you need. The location is excellent, short walk into the city centre. Parking straight opposite the apartment. Would definitely return.

Stayed in this lovely penthouse apartment for a couple of nights, within easy walk to the main shops and nightlife. Would stay again. Martin was brilliant when I had a question for him, re responded as soon as he could. Thanks Martin your a great host.

If you are looking for a bolt hole in the middle of town this is the place. Clean however now very tired looking, small bed and very low sofas and 80's spotlights. Served a purpose and probably use again just for the sake it's a flat. Door screwed shut for second balcony???

Great location and space for our needs

The flat was in a great location in Leeds city centre, centrally located next to bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and transport links. Check in/check out was very easy. There was some superficial wear and tear such as scuff marks on the walls and a cabinet hinge that broke during our stay. Very spacious and modern ammenities and perfect for couples or singles visiting Leeds for a short or long visit.

Fantastic city centre base for 1-2

Martin's place is brilliantly located on the edge of the city centre and within 5 mins walk of excellent bars/clubs/restaurants and shopping (from high end stores to the outstanding Kirkgate market - go for the street food!). It's a very comfortable and easy flat - I stayed for a month while working at St James's hospital (a 20 min walk away) and couldn't have had a more perfect base. Martin is very quick to respond to any questions or issues and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and happy. It was a great stay, thank you!

This apartment is super close to so many fun things in Leeds. There was complimentary wifi, tea, coffee, porridge, and cereal. The pricing was also very nice. It was a good size as well, however the cleaning was the bare minimum and I wish the place was cleaned with more care. There were ceiling stains and dirty dishes in the cabinets. The floor in the livingroom was partially detached and it caught my foot. Some items weren’t functional or just straight up missing as well. It was super hot during the summer day since there’s no AC. There’s a small fan with minimal power that didn’t help much. There were 3 balcony doors but only 1 was accessible, so it was hard to circulate the outside air. It’s a decent stay but could’ve been much nicer.

Leeds appt

The apartment was clean, the bed low but comfortable. It is a short walk from all amenities and the arena. You pick the keys up from the railway station which was a bit stressful but once you had the keys all was plain sailing. The owner was very responsive and helpful to messages and queries, thankyou Martin. It was cold when we stayed and it took more than 24 hours for the appt to heat up to comfortable, we took this in our stride and made the best of it. There were towels in the bathroom and a few toiletries. A fridge which had milk in it, tasimo pods were plentiful. The balcony’s were great but not used due to weather. All in all we would stay here again
