“A comfortable and clean room and a quiet location. Staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Had evening meals there too which were very good. Would stay there again.”

“We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. ”

“This is a little gem in the heart of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Simon and Vanessa are fantastic people who care about their clients as do their charming staff. Food is freshly prepared and is very good. Will definitely be staying again”

“We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut. If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided. It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work...

“It was a fantastic stay in such a quiet and calm place - village settings all around. We really enjoyed the BBQ facilities. Property was extremely clean and tidy. The host even kept a flap jack for all of us - so nice of them. Fully recommended.”
