“Excelente hotel donde tuve una acogida tan calurosa, como si hubiera llegado a mi propia casa. Se preocuparon por mi en todo. Si tenía frío, si me sentía bien. Me hablaban de sus familias y me preguntaban por los míos, y estoy fascinada. Hasta el desayuno es excelente.”

“This was an amazing stay. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Towels smelled so fresh. The Host family were friendly and so understanding when "someone" locked the door from inside instead of using the outside locking system. Especially loved the donkeys. Their daughter who was the best host said she kissed donkey noses. And yes I did. They are so big and soft. Would highly recommend and stay here again.”

“The area is very quiet and rural. The house is cozy and was perfect for me. Cute lake/pond behind the house. Loved sitting on the porch and listening to the frogs. Peaceful ”

“Awesome building! Size of the loft was amazing! Great for our four year old son to run around after being in the car all day. In our next hotel in Roanoke (typical hotel room) our son kept opening the closet and bathroom doors looking for the “rest of the place.” Asking “where’s the rest of the rooms?”Good location. Clean kitchen. Straight forward check-in and out. Loved doing a load of laundry before traveling onto our next location. Beautiful building. Cool history. Great shower too. ”

“John is an excellent host! We had a great stay, caught a lot of small fish off the pier, but no big ones - this time! this was our dogs first vacation, and it was the perfect stay for her too... there's a fenced in yard, so she could do her thing, off leashwe'll certainly be back to stay again! ”

“Beautifully remodeled older building. The bathroom was especially lovely. Kitchen was small but usuable (we didn't cook). Wonderful dining space and TV area. The neighborhood is a little noisy...probobly only noticable to us as we like to sleep with windows open. We will stay again.”
