“Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again”

The room itself was the smallest in the house but we found it more than adequate and were very happy with the space. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. “Well-situated hotel, deluxe room was very comfortable with very fast wifi and fabulous Elemis toiletries. The cathedral view was spectacular. The only gripe was the noise of the extractor fans at the back of the property and the room was too hot! It's a complaint I have about a lot of hotels, unfortunately.”
