“I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room was lovely, ver quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. I did use the spa which was at extra cost but it was lovely and relaxing. I opted for the fine dining in the evening and it was outstanding. Breakfast was included and the menu had plenty of options from continental to freshly prepared hot options.The staff were very helpful and friendly- I will certainly rebut for a longer visit. ”

“The pub is situated in peaceful countryside and is in a great location.
The proprietors were so welcoming and kind, helping me to my room with my luggage. My room was comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathroom clean with nice toiletries.
The food in the pub was good, and the service was friendly and efficient.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would certainly stay there again if I’m in the area.”

“Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. “This is a beautifully appointed shepherd's hut on the edge of a pretty and quiet village in the North Pennines. Lots of walking routes nearby and just a few miles from Appleby-in-Westmoreland.
We enjoyed our stay very much though were disappointed that the internet signal was so poor. The TV would not stream smoothly so not worth having it there at the moment.
