Beautiful S.Downs Cottage w/pool,tennis and a private gate leads onto the Downs.

  • The Cottage at Ripsley tiene una puerta privada que se abre directamente hacia South Downs. Estamos ubicados en un área designada de excepcional belleza natural, pero a solo una hora de viaje en tren desde Londres.

    The Cottage at Ripsley ofrece algunos senderos encantadores para peatones y ciclistas. Hay bádminton y una red de fútbol disponibles bajo petición. Por cierto, tenemos un labrador de chocolate de 4 años, llamado Maddie, a quien puedes ver, no tiene acceso a la cabaña.

    La piscina y la cancha de tenis (un poco desvencijada pero funciona) están disponibles para los huéspedes en las mañanas de lunes a viernes (9.30 - 1.30pm), durante el período escolar y algunas semanas / fines de semana durante la escuela y los días festivos. Si desea confirmar si el grupo está disponible para las fechas que está viendo, envíeme un mensaje.


    EL ESPACIO DE LA CASA: hay dos áreas de estar, una en el área de la cocina / sala de estar arriba y abajo en la sala de estar / sala de juegos donde se encuentra el televisor / DVD, así como el sofá cama doble y la planta baja w / c, mesa de billar y tenis de mesa. Además de la calefacción central, hay dos estufas de leña, una en la sala de estar / sala de juegos y la otra en la habitación principal. Se suministra una cesta de troncos y leña.

    La sala de estar de la planta baja tiene una mesa de ping-pong, DVD, juegos de mesa y una mesa de billar. Los juguetes para exteriores e interiores están disponibles para los niños, así como una casa en el árbol, una red de fútbol y un columpio.

    Hay un cuarto de baño arriba con w / c, un baño privado al dormitorio principal y un w / c abajo.

    Acceso de invitado:

    Toda la cabaña está disponible para los huéspedes y hay una entrada independiente a la cabaña. El estacionamiento está disponible para hasta tres autos.

    N. B junio / julio / agosto / septiembre de 2019. Algunas fechas están disponibles si está interesado en tener un uso exclusivo de la cancha de tenis, los jardines y la piscina climatizada al aire libre. Hay un cargo extra de 170 libras esterlinas / 220 USD por el uso de la piscina por semana para el limpiador y la calefacción de la piscina. Si decide no utilizar la piscina, no hay ningún cargo adicional por el uso de la corte y los terrenos durante estos períodos.


    Información extra:
    Si 2 huéspedes están usando las dos habitaciones, hay un cargo adicional de limpieza de doce libras.
    Si 3 huéspedes usan las dos habitaciones y el sofá cama de la planta baja, hay un cargo adicional de limpieza de 20 libras.
    Por favor, háganos saber antes de su llegada si desea utilizar nuestro servicio de limpieza. Su ropa será lavada y prensada por £ 12 por hora.
    Las sábanas y las toallas se cambian cada semana. Hay una tarifa de limpieza de £ 24 pagada directamente al limpiador para limpiar la casa una vez por semana si los huéspedes se quedan por más de una semana.

A very enjoyable week, the property being situated in a lovely area with beautiful grounds. We had a quiet and relaxed week. Susie was very helpful recommending local places to eat which were all excellent.

Ideal location for our stay for a family wedding. Games room was great, rooms comfortable & kitchen facilities good. Lovely host & check-in and cottage/local information easy to follow & comprehensive.Only comments are that the stairs are not ideal if you’re infirm or for young children & one of the bedrooms has no loo, so need to use the downstairs one.

The Cottage is set in a lovely location next to the owners large house. Loads of parking , plenty of room in lounge and sun terrace, spiral staircase up to kitchen, main bathroom and bedrooms. All well equipped, clean with windows that open. Would stay here again if in the same area.

Lovely cottage in the most beautiful part of the South Downs

The cottage is at a quiet and very charming location. Cottage is more than large enough for the two of us, Nice hikes possible from the cottage, but of course many options in the rest of the South Downs park. Close to Petersfield with enough shops and coffee places, Our host Susie was very helpful.

Kitchen needed a cheese grater and a small ommlette pan and maybe on more small saucepan.Dishwasher a bonus.All rooms were clean and cobweb free.Shower door was unable to vlise but still useable.Goid hot water supply, and a very warm place.

Fantastic Time in the South Downs

Four adults (two couples) stayed at the cottage during the Goodwood Revival. Great location, fantastic views and wonderful amenities at the cottage. We ended each evening with ping pong and pool! The kitchen set up was easy to navigate and the access to Liphook was useful for runs to the shop or even a take out pizza from Guido's. We wish the weather had been better to allow us to take advantage of the sitting in the garden area. Susie is a great hostess!

Beautiful Cottage

Stayed for afew days for a wedding, our stay also included New Years eve. The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us with more space than we were expecting. We had a great time playing games and sitting round the log fire talking. The wi-fi was also good which was great for streaming movies etc. The weather was a bit wild when we were there so we didnt get the most from the walks that are on the door step. Good communication from Susie throughout our stay. Would certainly stay again.

Beautiful place and excellent host. You’ll love everything about this place from gorgeous grounds and countryside setting to the fully kitted games room to the spiral stairs leading to a huge bedroom plus second bedroom and kitchen. Susan even sorted a long mirror so that my wife can wear her saree properly:)

Beautiful cottage and lovely location

A lovely home away form home. Our two young boys absolutely loved the table tennis and pool table and especially the beautiful grounds. The cottage and property is well looked after and Susan was a splendid host. We will be back!

Perfect!

A fantastic property in great surroundings with exceptionally friendly hosts. We have just returned from a 4-night stay (as a family of 4) and we were blown away by the warm and friendly welcome from Susie and the whole family. All aspects of this property and the facilities were 'spot on' (exactly as described, if not better than described!) and it is well located with the coast within a short drive, countryside walks right outside the door and some good local pubs. Tip: follow Susie's tips and you will have an amazing time, she has great local knowledge!

Just perfect!

Can’t fault our wonderful stay in this lovely cottage on stunning grounds. Sue was brilliant at communicating throughout and so thoughtful with her suggestions and little touches like age appropriate toys left at the house. We are a family ranging in age from 20months to 70+ and all enjoyed every minute! Thank you Sue and family for having us! We will be back x

Wonderful stay in fabulous location with lovely host.

We had a lovely family stay in this sweet cottage, on beautiful grounds. We were lucky to have exclusive use of the amazing gardens and pool. The host Susie was wonderful and could not have been more helpful and kind. She stocked the cottage with toys for our kids, and gave us so many helpful tips about places to go. She was such a pleasure to deal with which made our stay even better. Thank you!

Comfortable cottage in lovely setting

The cottage is warm, clean and comfortable and fully lives up to the photographs and description. Earlier positive reviews are well deserved. The owner is charming and personable and made us most welcome. A very pleasant stay was enjoyed and a return visit is tempting.

Lovely property in wonderful setting.

We arrived late but communication was good and we had no problems getting in. The house is in some beautiful grounds near a cricket pitch with access to the downs very close. The house was spotless with lots of extras like pool table tennis and table tennis. So quiet and peaceful - we will be returning!

Bright, airy and spacious

We stayed with a friend for 3 nights. The cottage was lovely with everything we needed. We went during school holidays so couldn't use the swimming pool but there was lots to do locally. The cottage is situated very near beautiful National Trust walks. We had a great time and would go back in the future.

Perfect Cottage in the Country

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The owner Susie was a pleasure to deal with. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. My wife and I stayed at the cottage for five days. The cottage itself is comfortable and charming. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishware and new appliances. We enjoyed having wine and cheese on the downstairs patio in the evenings and walking though the South Downs. The shower is brilliant. Everything you might need to buy can be found in Liphook, which is just a few minutes drive away. The A3 is conveniently close. The nearby Rising Sun pub has great food, a good atmosphere and is worth a visit. Our walk to the Deers Hut pub was one of our favorite days, although the paths through parts of the Downs are not very well marked - nothing a gps can't resolve for you. Overall, an outstanding experience.
