“Host answered the phone right away when I had a question.”

“Nice place, great get away for family.”

“Ana’s Cottage was just what we needed for an escape. It was peaceful away from traffic and people. The landscape was beautiful and we enjoyed many naps on the porch with hummingbirds and bees whizzing by. The cottage decor was sweet and we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. We regretted only having one week and not two.”

“Cabin is definitely in the woods.Fisherman would definitely love this. Communication with host was good . Cabin had everything we needed for a last minute trip.”

“Nice little place. Pretty close to mountain trails and etc.”

“Very cozy”

“Lovely home with lots of cozy touches! Our favorite room was the very large screened porch with a dining table, comfortable wicker chair arrangements and two anti-gravity lounge chairs. From here we listened to the sounds of the creek and enjoyed amazing firefly shows every night. (We visited in July.) It was magical! The grounds are beautifully landscaped. We also loved the screened gazebo by the creek. Inside, the home is very comfortable and has everything you need or could want. The...

“Excellent response with communication. Cute and clean. Both beds are queen or full size (seemed small), so keep that in mind. It was just my husband and me so we slept in separate rooms. Would rent again if in area.”

“Great area. Lean and easy to access.”

“Stunning views and super cute and cozy stay. The cabin was perfect for me and my husband.”

“Wonderful place to stay and we will be back! Exceptionally clean, thoughtful, and comfortable. Get there early to explore the property, hot tub, sauna, cold plunge pond, and beautiful scenery. The hot tub was heated when we arrived which was great after a long day of hiking. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into making this a wonderful and relaxing experience!”

“The only downside is the LP gas chargrill needs it's inside parts replaced or entire grill replacement. If your not into grilling then it's a mute point. Great place to enjoy the mountains of NC. Very nice accomodations, all you need to bring is your toothbrush. Super nice being beside the creek and very accessable to the trails of Old Fort.”

“We stayed here when dropping our child off for camp. The home was cozy and much better than simply staying at a hotel. The host was communicative and kind. Loved our stay!”

“The Country Girl Cottage is a peaceful hideaway behind the owner's home, nestled in beautiful, well-tended gardens. The front porch on the cottage is peaceful and wonderful for taking in the view of the gardens, reading, enjoying your morning coffee or your evening wine. The cottage itself is well-equipped and quaintly decorated with antique pieces and also a comfortable sofa for relaxing. The kitchen is small, but perfectly equipped for a weekend stay. We have now stayed at The Country Girl 4...
