“Definitely not the best stay I’ve had at any motel/hotel. The property was pretty run down and the room itself was really dusty. There was this door mat that was not held down by anything like a carpet runner and slid around whenever walked on. I rolled it up and tossed it aside because it was dangerous. The heat was difficult to turn up, you had to press really hard and like wiggle your finger around, but to turn it down it was easy. The plug situation was weird. Not really close to the bed but...

“Just a wonderful little town. We (4 of us) traveled to 4 Canadian provinces and we loved each one. Shelburne pace was just what we needed before coming home via the Ferry. It was so nice to settle in to this charming home. We were so happy to relax in such a nice space. Terrific communication with Dave! Thanks for everything…we’d love to return someday:)”

“We stayed here for the weekend for the Sea Me Run half Marathon and this place was perfect! Communication with the host was easy and efficient, and he was very accommodating when we added another person last minute. It is a huge space and all five of us had plenty of room. The bonus was how close it is to the water front. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The place had everything to enjoy a quick couple nights stay. Bed was comfortable. Furnitures, specially the chairs and sofa were bit old and needs maintenance. Loved barbecue availability in all cottages and even for motel rooms.”

“It took us a little bit to find the place as we didn’t quite know what we were looking for. Lockeport is a very small town. The room itself was comfortable and cozy. I thought perhaps the bath towels could be bigger, they were a bit on the small side. We weren’t told that there would be no open restaurants (we were there in October) so we went to the convenience store and bought what we could for our evening meal. The store does have a cook who will prepare something for you but that day...

“I loved everything about the property except for the rooms with the slot. That business took front and over the hotel guests staying at the property. It was not mentioned by Expedia for the booking and I was not impressed with that at all. Will be looking closer at all bookings especially with Expedia.”

“This property was comfortable and convenient and we enjoyed our stay here.”

“This was such a fun place to stay! I would have called it glamping, but it’s a step above that. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom so nice, the kitchen was functional and so cute (if you need a microwave there isn’t one, but we ended up just fine without). Loved the hot tub and the views were nice. Saw a grey seal each evening, along with a sweet doe meandering through. Lots of hummingbirds. Good location and we just really enjoyed our time. We stayed 4 nights and had time to enjoy so many...

“We had the most relaxing time. We both have stressful jobs and this was just what we needed to kick off our vacation. The decor was stunning and all the extra touches were beautiful! The bbq started without messing with propane. Fire pit was perfect and the hot tub was a cherry on top! Thank you! Ohhh and the shower shampoo conditioner and body wash! Yummy I smelled like a coconut!”

“A little hard to find as it is not well marked, although the actual unit was great. Clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Centrally located and easy to get where we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“Really clean, beautiful view, perfect place to relax”
