“Un lugar lleno de magia”

“We had the most incredible stay at Darren and Karen's charming cottage in Scotland. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The cottage itself is a true gem, with its picturesque surroundings and cozy interior. It's evident that Darren and Karen have put a lot of love and care into every aspect of the cottage. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds and tasteful decor. The...

“En general muy bien. El hotel no es de lujo pero se está a gusto. Su cocina es muy buena y los desayunos excelentes ”

“The Melfort House is a beautiful and well-maintained home. The rooms are cozy and charming and the staff was helpful. I was the only one there, so it was very quiet! Breakfast was wonderful, cooked to order. It is a fair piece from town, which I did not realize, but the GPS took me right to the front door.”

“Great!”

“We stayed at the Kames while exploring the area which is so beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated in an idyllic setting. The food was superb, especially the homemade steak pie! The Scottish Breakfast is the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Karen was a charming and helpful owner who made us very welcome. Her recommendations of places to go were invaluable, as we didn't know the area. She provided everthing we needed including lots of heaters, as the house was a bit chilly. Plenty of space and a lovely garden with lots of wildlife. An enjoyable week.”

“Amazing hotel and restaurant. Highly recommended.”

“The staff was friendly and the food at the in-house restaurant was very good. The condition of the room was good enough and clean, but everything from the doors, bed, bathroom and more was incredibly old and left some to be desired in terms of upkeep. I felt the pictures of the rooms online were rather deceiving. The location of the property though was fantastic with beautiful views.”
