The location here is good. It's close to Underground stops, grocery stores and other shopping. The lockbox for the key is a bit tricky to find as it's on a bike rack surrounded by bikes. You'll go up a 3/4 flight of stairs to get inside the building past mail piling up and a dirty stoop. Inside, it's up another full flight to the front door. Then, another flight of stairs up to the main level. The 2 bedrooms with the king (UK king so really a queen size) and double/Q beds are up yet another flight of stairs. We had our 81 year old mom with us, so knowing this might've changed our selection. Cleaning didn't live up to expectations. Counters, surfaces and dishes coming out of the cabinets were dirty. Since there was no d/w soap and the dish soap was so watered down it didn't even wash hands, we figured the cleaners must've run out of soap and run the d/w without it. We bought soap and the d/w worked fine to get the dishes clean. But who wants to load a d/w when they first arrive on holiday? The bathrooms were clean and the beds were cleanly made. Thankfully, there was laundry soap. The living room furniture is uncomfortable. You can feel the frames through the cushions of both settees. There is a functioning tv left in front of the old one. There were no sheets for the twin bed upstairs except a flat sheet with a note that it was only for housekeeping use. It could be a cute flat in a good location but it needs refurbishment and a good clean.
