Hotel un poco antiguo. Solo desayunamos 1 día y no lo recomiendo , muy caro y fatal. La habitación que nos tocó era muy ruidosa, se oían como unos motores todo el día. La situación aunque alejado del centro, es una zona muy tranquila y bien comunicada.

Horrible experiencia llegamos y la habitación que nos dieron era espantosa yo solicite una habitación con 2 camas y nos entregaron una con una cama individual y aparte era una habitación para personas discapacitadas llenas de aditamentos para este tipo de servicios la bañera lo más horrible que he visto y al llamar a recepción para que nos cambiaran la habitación la señorita nos afirmaba que habían dos camas lo cual no era cierto y tuvimos que esperar a que una persona del hotel fuera a confirmar lo que decíamos y nos cambiaron a otra habitación igual de horrible también para discapacitados y con dos camas con une estación en medio de 20 centímetros todo horrible jamás volveré a este lugar

Magnifica estancia.
La estancia ha sido muy agradable. Tanto el personal de recepción, que es muy atento, como el servicio de limpieza y todo en general, han hecho que nuestra estancia haya sido muy positiva. Por otra parte, el hotel está situado en una zona muy tranquila y bien comunicada.

Overall old (but recent building) hotel, not worth for the rate, room and specially bathroom are repellent. On top or train railway and very noisy hotel (you hear the guests next room and they vacuum the corridor starting 8:00 am)

Unfortunately, this does mean some rooms overlook the train tracks. Cuando llegamos para hacer el check-in y que nos diesen la habitación triple con tres camas individuales que habíamos reservado, nos dicen que no está disponible, que lo tienen todo ocupado y que tendríamos que esperar una hora, que solo nos podían ofrecer otra con cama de matrimonio y más pequeña. Eso teniendo una reserva con antelación y habiendo dejado ya las maletas en consigna horas antes. La habitación y el baño muy anticuados y poco cuidados, el baño funcionaba mal, la cama supletoria era un catre inapropiado y sin solidez. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba y tuvimos que avisar tres veces para que viniese un técnico y aún así pasamos mucho calor porque era un aparato anticuado que estaba junto a la ventana, no tenía una instalación en el techo. La ropa de cama estaba limpia y en buen estado, afortunadamente. La ubicación cercana a una estación de metro.

Mal comienzo, al final estuvo bien.
Teníamos habitación reservada en el Tara. Un mes antes recibo una llamada y me indican que por overbooking no me puedo alojar allí y me trasladan a otro hotel del mismo grupo. Dos días antes de mi llegada me envían información del Tara, con lo que empiezan a generarme incertidumbre sobre a qué hotel he de ir. Escribo un correo ese mismo día pero no me contestan. Al día siguiente, un día antes de mi llegada no recibo contestación hasta después del mediodía, con la inseguridad que supone no saber a qué hotel has de dirigirte. Me dicen que he de ir al Tara pues no había aceptado el traslado ¿? cuando en ningún momento anterior me habían dicho que debía de aceptar el traslado. Al final no acabas de entender si de verdad había overbooking o no o cómo lo manejan. No recibo una explicación con sentido de este tema. Al llegar al hotel a las cuatro de la tarde, la habitación de tres camas no estaba preparada. Una cama supletoria estaba de pie a la entrada e impedía el acceso. Tuvimos que ponerla nosotros en su sitio para poder movernos. No había sábanas, el colchón estaba sucio y la colcha muy sucia. Pedimos que lo solucionaran al personal de limpieza y así lo hicieron. El personal amable. Es un hotel grande, con mucho giro.Es clásico. El sábado hubo una celebración o boda. Pero tras varios días nos sentimos bastante a gusto. Sí repetiría, pero no a los precios que nos costó la habitación. Una doble con cama supletoria...carísima, con puerta a otra habitación con vecinos muy molestos.

I stay in a lot of hotels for work around London so think I can give a balanced view. I stayed at this hotel as it came within budget and the double club room promised some element of comfort/luxury- alas it didn't. On arrival, a large group were checking in, with only two on the check in desk it was an incredibly slow process. Despite checking in online when I did get to the desk this took much longer that I would usually expect. On arriving to the room- it needs some TLC, it's very tired. The windows were filthy and grimy, carpet starting to show wear, tiles in the bathroom not quite fitted properly, poor bathroom fittings, stick substance left on the table, and an ancient air conditioning unit. The air con unit just didn't work, I spent the first night roasting- I got through three bottles of water as I was so parched, and there are of course no opening windows. I did ask at reception the next day and maintenance were sent up and did fix which helped cool the room down. There are many other hotels in the area and across London charging similar prices or slightly less for a much better, nicer, higher quality experience. If you just want a room to get some kip before a flight or something then this will be fine- but don't expect too much!

This hotel is in a great location near High Street Kensington tube station and a variety of shops and restaurants. It's tucked away on a quiet but safe street so you don't get any noise at night. The room was a decent size and clean. Would definitely stay there again. A great affordable option in London.

Hotel is a bit dated but it was clean and staff were helpful. The room was a bit noisy due to other guests, not the hotels fault. Breakfast was ok, some of the cooked food was not very warm. Location is great, just near a tube station and buses. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.
