There was no staying experience; I mean, I couldn't even stay in the apartment because of how dirty and messy it was. There had been some kind of very family-friendly party. The beds were completely dirty and messy, including the sofa bed in the living room, the bathroom was dirty, and there were beer bottles scattered all over the apartment. Lots of bottles. Plus fast food delivery packaging. I had stayed in this apartment a week before. We didn't like the towels or the smell of the bed linens, but we never suspected the reason. Anyway... I don't wish this embarrassing situation on anyone under any circumstances, and even less so when they are with their family.

I booked this apartment for 3 days, but upon arriving, around 6 pm on a Sunday, I was faced with a deplorable situation. Dirt in every room, on the walls and floor. Wet towels scattered everywhere. All the curtains were down, and both the sofa bed in the living room and the beds were overturned and dirty, to say the least. In the living room, there were dozens of beer bottles in addition to dirty fast food delivery packaging. I was with my family, and we were appalled. I didn't have the courage to return to this place even after they told me they would clean everything and buy new towels and bed linens, something I suspect will not happen. I do not recommend it.

This apartment is in a prime location and is beautiful, both interior and exterior. The building itself is very secure.Overall communication with the host was more frustrating than it should have been. The check-in instructions were sent only 20 minutes before the check-in time and they were only sent after I called the host because we were about to head to the apartment. The check-in instructions only contained information to get into the apartment and did not include other information about the property, including Wifi connectivity. I had to ask the host for this, but they were provided promptly. Check-out instructions weren't sent until 6 hours before check-out, even though I had asked for them prior, and they wound up being similar to the check-in instructions. The communication issues could be very easily solved if the host created a document with all of this information and sent it 24 hours before check-in, as most other properties I've stayed at do. The main bed of the property I believe is a King sized bed, although the listing says it's a double. However, the mattress sags horribly, to the point where I slept on the couch as it was more comfortable. The mattress really needs to be replaced.Although I'm giving this property 3 stars, if the check-in/check-out process was more streamlined and the main mattress replaced, this place would easily be 5 stars.
