“The property had been cleaned and was in reasonably good condition. There was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke that really detracted from the positives. This was surprising because it was listed as a nonsmoking property. If you don’t mind the smell of cigarettes, then this is an economical and convenient place to spend the night.”

“The room was comfortable, but had a kind of musty smell. It would have been nice to be able to open the window. Excellent location and plenty of parking. It was clean but could have used new carpets and paint here and there. It would have been nice to have more information about the shared bathroom. It had 2 toilet stalls and 2 working shower stalls all in one unisex bathroom that was similar to what you might find in a college dormitory.”

“This could have been great. They definitely tried to update the vibe and it did hit some good marks. We arrived after 10 pm. We had noted this on our reservation and they stated their office was open until midnight. When we arrived there was a note on the office door to call a number. When I called the lady said she had just stepped out but we could let ourselves into the room bc the door was unlocked and THE KEY was on the nightstand. That felt unsafe! “Check in was difficult with no internet on the property and no one at the motel office or available anywhere when we arrived at 4 pm. We later found the code for our room from the owners by driving for an internet connection in a nearby town. We were intimidated to return to the motel with no one there but did so and successfully accessed our room. The room was nicely appointed but we would have much preferred a welcome in person. “Leslie and Emily are two amazing women. When we first showed up, we weren’t sure but they showed us around property and as we got to know them and the property as they are very hands on and they are great people. The water tube bed in the Richard Glamp was interesting to sleep on; I did great my husband not so much. Only writing this so you know. The fact that they made pizza for a nominal fee everyday was a great concept as there isn’t much around there to eat. They also do same thing...
