“We went up for an extended weekend, and the photos of this place did not do it justice!! The view from the home was absolutely beautiful! My wife and friends were beyond pleased with this great find!! If you have the opportunity to rent this place, I would suggest you do!! Peaceful and quiet and again the view is beautiful!”

“We enjoyed our two week stay, though it rained almost every day. During the day we visited, Lake George, the Adirondacks and Vermont. It was nice to come back to a quiet place. ”

“Great, comfortable little cottage. The owner has thought to supply just about everything you could need. It was clean and fresh. There was an area wide power outage when we arrived due to a big storm. The owner had taken the time to hook up a generator so we had a light and power to the refrigerator. Power was back on in a couple of hours. We would absolutely stay there again. Our dog absolutely loved the front deck overlooking a view of the lake through the trees.”

“A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. ”

My only critique would be the WiFi which was spotty at times. Still, if you’re looking for a quiet retreat this is a great choice.”
