The property is in a good location and was relatively clean. However, there are some important things future guests should know. The floors were not very clean — when my son walked barefoot his feet turned completely black, so it’s best to keep shoes or slippers on indoors. The apartment is spread over three levels. When you first enter, there is a master bedroom on the ground floor. Then there are about 15 stairs up to the kitchen, living area, washer, and dryer, and then another 15 stairs up to the two other bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed and is well equipped, while the other has two bunk beds which are fine for kids but felt small for adults. The biggest issue for us was that the three levels and all the stairs were not clearly mentioned in the listing. None of the pictures showed this, and it was a big problem because my mom had a broken foot and could not use the stairs. She was stuck on the ground floor and couldn’t even get to the kitchen. This made our stay very difficult.Supplies and equipment in the house were very minimal, and there were no carpets. VRBO support was not helpful when I raised the issue — they said only the owner could decide, and nothing could be done.Overall, while the location is good and the house looks as pictured, the lack of clear disclosure about the stairs and the minimal supplies made it a disappointing experience for us.
